Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The price of this hotel is really very good for Helsinki standards. The location is quite central, convenient for visiting the center.
The room I was assigned had a decent size, two of us stayed there comfortably.
The bathroom, on the other hand, is a little small but overall functional and above all, everything is very clean.
Unfortunately the bed and pillow were uncomfortable.
I would like to point out the continuous undaunted background noise - day and night - caused by the air circulation fan which, together with the hum of the motor of the fridge placed in a wardrobe next to the bed, were not exactly the best during the night.
Overall I recommend this hotel if you want to spend little and if your stay only lasts a few days!

The hotel is well located, you can get around quite a bit on foot. I didn't like that it was so impersonal. There are no staff with whom you can interact. There is a phone number to call and an email. They are the only means of communication. We had a slightly cold room and there was no way to resolve it. I sent an email, they responded within days and nothing was resolved. The cutlery in the kitchen stuff pack was not very clean. The black out curtains were broken and one was missing. For the rest, the room is comfortable and the bathroom, with everything you need.

Very nice apartments and great location. Very much a home from home. Only thing to note is that the apartments are across the road from a school. The children are out in the playground from 8am and it's very noisy from then on more or less till the end of school time. Going forward I would probably choose a Fore nom apartment in another location. Outside term time I'd definitely recommend these apartments.

I'm giving one star because I can't give less.
When we arrived, the room was extremely hot. The windows were closed, and there was no way to open them. It was suffocating. After an hour, assistance informed us we needed some "keys" that were downstairs. It was midnight, and we had to wander the hotel searching for these keys.
The room was dirty, the furniture was wrecked, the beds were small, and the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, resembling couch pillows. This is not an "apartment"—it's a dirty room with a microwave and a small fridge, falsely advertised as an apartment. The bathroom is so tiny that you essentially shower over the toilet. At one point, I felt nauseous.
You have to dispose of your own garbage and clean the dishes, or you'll be charged. The dishes must be washed in the small plastic bathroom sink, which is unsanitary. They even encourage guests to clean their own rooms, which makes me question what we're paying for.
During your stay, they never change your towels or clean the room unless you pay extra, even if the room was dirty from the start. The corridors are always cluttered with huge carts of dirty sheets left by the cleaning staff, which seems unsafe.
The room was so dirty and smelly that we requested a room change. The smell was coming from the bathroom, making it impossible to sleep. They promised maintenance, but no one came. After spending another night in the same terrible room, they finally offered us a room change after we repeatedly asked.
By the time they agreed to change our room, we had already booked a new hotel, where we are now having a wonderful stay.
Please do not waste your money on this tourist trap. They don't care about guests. They just want your money.

There are multiple problems with this hotel. The 24h customer service number does not work, the 24h email service replies in 48h, the 'automated' luggage storage number also does not work. So contrary to what they promise, there is, in fact, no luggage storage possibility. When I requested the refund of my external luggage storage cost, they declined my request in an email that literally did not even make sense. In lack of reception and promt customer service, you are totally alone, there is no one to call for help when another room in your corridor is having a loud party with multiple guests, or when the heating does not work. The 'room' is, in fact, a kitchen with a bed in it, with plenty of kitchen cupboards but zero wardrobes. It is significantly smaller than what it looks like in the hotel photos, there are no curtains and the minimal blinds do not ensure darkness (or privacy) during the white nights. The TV did not work, window cleaning was insufficient. The main entrance of the building smells of beer etc. alcohol, and when you're about to enter, there is almost always someone who 'accidentally' arrives at the same time and expects you to let them into the building without a code. The location is great and the price was low in Helsinki, but next time I'll rather pay more but stay in a safe and more decent place.

After finding the number for the combination lock to get into the hotel - concierge had just left to find some heat and daylight, we entered the spacious and welcoming ground floor reception area, with log fire, fully stock bar.
2 more combination locks to get into the room, we’re we found a tea-towel for a pillow, hand towel for blanket, and 6 foot container in the middle of the room for toilet and shower, perfectly adequate.
Unfortunately, the 2 foot 2” bed, did not allow much room for rotating during the night.
Breakfast was heavenly, with the rooftop view and heated pool.
Will worth a visit with the wife…..if your looking a divorce

The body wash dispenser was broken when we just checked in the room 704. We sent a message to online chat customer service and received ZERO response from them. We don’t think it is convenient to call them especially as tourists from other countries. The bed mattress was not clean enough. Much hair under the the bed mattress. There is some dust near the heater switches under the windows in the room. The price is quite fair to have this kind of service indeed.

It’s even better than we expected. Right in the city center, very clean and has microwave, kettle and coffee. The beds were very comfortable. I love that we could access it with the code. Easy check in and check out.

We were severely bitten by insects the night we stayed there, Oct 28-29. I assume those were fleas. We were hugely disappointed when we realised that because at first we liked it a lot as the room was nicely decorated and looked very neat.

As a cheap-ish room with a central location, this was an average hotel. However, it's a rubbish apartment. I usually do some cooking for myself and have people over when I book an aparthotel as they usually have tons of space and a small kitchen. This had a microwave and a chair. It didn't event have a sink to wash my bowls in!
