Stayed here for five nights in a row. Love the easy and free parking options, as well as the Derby Shuttle minibus. Location is excellent. Sparkling water dispensers are great, breakfast rather small but not bad at all. Minus from not having a gym in hotel.. Elixia is not in the same scope with this hotel.

Very welcoming hotel close to a shopping centre which is always a bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable although the room itself was small. Bathroom was a decent size and the shower was powerful with plentiful hot water. Breakfast was a good reflection of Finnish hospitality with local produce. I was on the 7th floor so very quiet with a good view from the window. Great stay.

We stayed here for two nights with my Nordic Choice points. As a Nordic Choice platinum member, we were upgraded to the best room category which is GLO Luxe. We got a top 8th-floor corner room that has the best views.
On arrival, there were chocolates and a welcome card waiting on the desk. Also, I got two 13-euro platinum restaurant vouchers.
We have stayed many times in these corner rooms but never on the top floor. It was a pleasant surprise that this room had just a shower without a bathtub. It was much easier to have a shower.
There is not a significant size difference between Luxe and Comfort rooms but Luxe rooms are corner rooms or located on the top floor. Also, bathrobes and slippers are included.
The minibar was empty but that was not a problem for us coming directly from a Tallinn cruise. Also, you can buy drinks from the lobby bar. And Sello shopping center is located next to the hotel.
The restaurant was closed but you could buy tapas and drinks from the lobby bar. We could use my platinum vouchers there. The service was very top level.
The breakfast had not the widest food selection but it was enough for us. It was pleasantly calm on both mornings.

GLO Hotel Sello offers nice accommodation in the heart of Espoo. It is in a shopping mall, at the railway station. Easy to reach everywhere in the area of the Finnish capital city of Helsinki. Reception personnel wished you welcome in a very friendly manner, and the service was all in all professional. The room is a bit small for my taste but very clean and nicely decorated. Good quality bed suitable for taller and/or heavier persons. The Scandinavian buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of warm and cold eats.

We have stayed here many times but this was our first time after the refurbishment. We booked a Luxe room from the January Sale for 101 euros including breakfast. So our stay had excellent value.
The hotel has been modern already before but it got a refurbishment last year. The biggest change in our Luxe room was a new motorized bed. It is a pity that the mirror with a red light above the bed has been removed. It was so stylish and a real eye-catcher.
The bathroom has now a rain shower but you have to use it carefully or you will have a flooded floor. The wall next to the shower is very narrow. The bathroom lighting is as poor as before.
The breakfast was okay. The food selection, especially the warm dishes, could have been better.
The reception staff was very friendly. As a Discovery member, I got a goodie pack on arrival.

Why didn’t I expect that much? Well, to be honedt, the location doesn’ quite make your heart beat any fast at all; squeezed in on s busy street, next to a shopping mall, but then, re-thinking, loads of parking, and a three minute walk to the train stop, with Helsinki centre withing a very easy and quick reach. Also, almost next to ring road 3, as well as the highway to Turku/ Helsinki really kind of improve the impression of location. Nice room, good view, very comfortable bed, and a good bath, in the morning, an excellent breakfast. So, if you’d happen to have business or something else taking you to Leppävaara, it is an easy and natural thing to recommend Glo! Partly, of course, as there isn’t really any competition at all really nearby.

This was a nice modern hotel, the hotel had nice rooms, it was a very good breakfast. Everything you need on a business trip. Centrally located in the centre of Espoo. Right near a larger mall. Little noise from outside, like traffic noise.

It was easy to check in to the hotel. We have already been to Sello Gloss a few times, so we knew where to park the car. A really big plus is that the parking is free for hotel guests! There are not many places like this in the capital region.
