I have been staying here on business trips about 4 years now. And I think this hotel has gone down hill in that time. Only reson I come here anymore is the S-Card bonuses and the fact that this is near to my work. But if things go even more down hill, I have to stay somewhere else. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation and the appear to be poorly cleaned. For example you can get much more nicer room in Sokos Hotel Presidentti at the same price. The staff is not friendly anymore and more and more they seem unprofessional. The restaurant is therible, I only eat there if I must. The restaurant staff is rude and the food is below average. Also the breakfast is not Sokos Hotel standard. Please make some drastic changes to your hotel, becouse this used to be a nice place to stay. …

I feel like I'm paying too much while staying in this hotel. So, I'm not going back. Been visiting there several times during the years. It's would have been nice to go back in Tapiola, but I'm choosing another place to stay.

This hotel is centrally located next to the Tapiola Keskusallas pool where people are riding SUP boards in summer and skating in winter. Nearly all rooms have a balcony. We booked a Superior King room from a sale for 114 euros. Our room was ready on arrival at 12:15. This time we got a room on the 2nd floor with a bigger balcony. The room decor needs some updating but everything worked. What has been a real change for the better is that Sokos hotels have finally stopped offering these hard-to-use small single packages of bath products. Now they have high-quality Lumene products from pump bottles. The breakfast was well organized and it was easy to find a table although the hotel was quite fully booked. While checking in, you will get a slot for the breakfast. We opted for the last slot at 9:45.…

Nice basic hotel with a good gym, sauna and pool. Great location near metro station. Sleep quality OK. There were no closet of any kind for your things which is always irritating in some hotel rooms. Wifi was too slow at any day/time to stream anything to the built-in chromecast. Well, the breakfast was excellent as usually at Sokos Hotels. After all, this is a hotel I probably will use again if visiting Tapiola surroundings.

First of all - and I guess this is a general thing in Helsinki area - the prices of this hotel are very high for what you get in return. it can be well over 200Euro per night and the next day then "only" 130Euro.... but unfortunately you don't get that much in return in my opinion - or lets say there is some things that should be improved. The rooms might try to create some retro style? but aren't really special. Especially if you are staying more than one night then it is a bit disturbing that there is no space to put your clothes to. Well - an open wardrobe where you normally put your jacket and coat.... but nothing else.... no drawers to put socks and other stuff.... you have to keep that inside your suitcase.... Then the light is horrible.... I mean we are living in 2019 and not in the 50s with Neon-commercials. if you put the light on directly behind you at the wall then it makes an incredible noise - I personally can't stand that hum - the other room light cannot be switched on/off from every bed so you might have to get out of bed again to do so.... bathroom is ok - purely functional - is ok. Unfortunately the staff constantly forgets to refill the tea/coffee supply at room. The location is good based on the shopping center being very close as well as Metro but I would prefer id there would be another hotel around so that there would be some competition. Breakfast is ok - would expect nothing less for the room rates. Wished there would be also a coffee machine that supplies Cappuccino.... The free Wifi and quality though deserves special mentioning... Maybe a couple of small improvements would make me change my mind again :-)…

The hotel prices have gotten higher all in all in the Helsinki-Espoo area due to hotels being very full very often. This autumn there have been lots of bigger events that have filled up the area completely and it also means that the prices get higher during the events. There are lots of new hotels being opened in the capital area so it might change the situation. I will forward the feedback regarding the room to our managers. I'll also remind the housekeeping staff to remember to fill up the coffee and tea when cleaning the stayover rooms. In general very well located for Espoo, easy to get by taxi and metro. The staff is friendly. Sauna and gym make you busy in the evenings. the breakfast is ok, tasty enough, but not luxurious. the only thing i lacked for visiting sauna was the bathrobe and sleepers. But i managed. I recommend the hotel to other travellers.

Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Kettle is available to make warm drinks, fridge and hair dryer are also available. Breakfast was very good and food in the restaurant was delicious e.g. dish with whitefish was amazing!

Original Sokos hotel Tapiola Is close to work, so I usually stay here. It is always a pleasure. The rooms are nice, it is quiet, and the staff is friendly. Checking in and out is quick, even in the morning rush. It is also close to a shopping center if one wants to kill some time, and they have a good dinner restaurant, which I did not use this time.

Location is bit shabby due to near by construction site but the construction noises do not disturb if you are staying in 1st floor room. The room is simple and clean and with all needed stuff for relaxation after busy working day. And the reception people are extremely nice and helpfull always nice to arrive at hotel where the reception people give a nice smile as a welcome. Gives you extra nice feeling that you actually are valued person.
