Detailed Reviews
We went through the hotel and saw the conference rooms and an example of a room. We also visited Mäkitupa and the saunas near the shore. Afterwards we were served a buffet lunch with different sallads and meat.

Basic calm hotel. Toilet was ugly. Breakfast was good. And specially there was sausage for vegetarian people so it was very nice surprise! Very much sport things and good beach.
Perus rauhallinen hotelli.

This hotel is ok. It's outside of cities, so you need to have a car to get here. Rooms were nice, sauna area very nice, athmosphere also good and staff was friendly. Only thing to complain: lots of room to improve their vegeatarian food. It would be great that a place which is named after the national park, would also bring environmental values to the menu.

+1
I stayed here for 2 nights. I booked this based on the hotel’s website.
This is not a hotel-it’s a hostel.
There is no restaurant where you can have food anytime with an a la carte menu.
Breakfast is at 7-9:30 and dinner buffet only between 17:00-19:00, otherwise, the restaurant is closed.
Good luck finding food after that. We were late checking in, after 19:00, and we were told that the nearest restaurant was 10 km away.
From toilettries there was only basic shower gel on the wall - nohair conditioner or body cream.
I will not stay here again.

Located nicely and seen from outside this hotel looks good. The room was clean, but the bathroom of the room seemed old and needed more neatly cleaning. The quality, service and the breakfast of the hotel are like that of a youth hostel and basic level. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom when I stayed there. If you just enjoy the nature there in the area, this hotel is OK, I think.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the rooms were basic but large and the food a decent buffet style with enough choice for the unpicky of us. The location is outstanding, right by a gorgeous lake with Nuuksio national park literally on the doorstep. It's not a luxury hotel but I think that is the appeal, It was fun, relaxed and the staff were very friendly and catering. Recommend for kids and big kids alike.

This hotel is located with direct access to a national park. It lies just a few hundred meters from a lake where you can take a relaxing swim. The pool in the hotel is also great. For the outdoor person this is a great starting point.
Unfortunately the small details related to service especially the breakfast and meals are not up to standard and definitively not in relation to the price level of the rooms. It's a shame as the potential is great to be a really nice location.

Hotel located on the border of the nature park, just a 2 minutes walk from the lake. I stayed here for two nights.
The room has a decent size, but the bed is uncomfortable, probably due to the less than 5 cm. matress thickness. Room was dirty, with hair on the table and on the floor.
The bathroom is small, with no phisical separation between the shower and the loo (just a curtain). After a shower, all the bathroom floor is covered with water.
The room wasn't cleaned after the first night. I claimed and the receptionist told me that I had to hang a sign on the door handle if I wanted the room cleaned on the following day. She offered clean towels to me.
Limited food options for the unattended breakfast: you have to clean the table yourself.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

My husband and I spend a couple of days at Siikaranta mainly to hike in close by Nuuksio National Park. Overall we were quite satisfied, but some things were not optimal for our purpose:
Hotel: The hotel is a typical conference hotel; most guests attend multi-day meetings/seminars. The interior is a little old, reminds me of a school building from the 70s. Unfortunately it said nowhere on any booking site that the hotel closes down on Sunday afternoons (after 3pm)! We were the only guests, so we were all by ourselves for a night. The restaurant, bar, sauna etc. also closes as well.
Location: The location is about 15 km outside of Espoo city center. This is also the closest place where you can get something to eat in case the restaurant is closed. The close by lake is beautiful and also offers some good fishing options. The connection to Nuuksio however is not ideal: The park is only 200m away, so you can start hiking directly at the hotel, but it will be around 7 km until you reach the ranger hut in the middle of the park. If you also like to visit the official park center Haltia (which has a great buffet restaurant), it will mean even 5 km more hiking. So the best option is probably to go to Haltia by car (I think, there is also a bus), which means about 30 min drive however as you have to circle two lakes.
Rooms: Pictures on the internet are adequate. Quite small, but ok. Very clean. Basic, but new and modern furniture, but bathroom still old. Free Wifi.
Restaurant: The breakfast buffet was large and fresh, very nice. We only ate in the a la carte restaurant once and it was ok. They also offer a daily dinner buffet, but it is only from 5-6pm, which is quite early, I think.
Service: Very nice personnel. Great addition is the free boat service to make good use of the lake. The lake sauna is wonderful, but it only seems to be open on certain days or it must be booked as a whole. The fact that they close for a day is however unfortunate.
Overall we really liked our stay, but would probably choose another hotel, if we visit Nuuksio again, as the location still meant that we had to drive and the hotel closes down on Sundays.

We had a seminar here. The meeting facilities are rather standard, absolutely nothing special. Rooms were what one would expect, clean. Bathroom clean, plenty of hot water. Food was rather good, dinner and breakfast.
