Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We celebrated Christmas 🎄 in one of the villas in Nallikari! We travel a lot and really, I haven’t stayed in cleanest and better equipped “hotel” so far! Everything was perfect and well thought of! When we arrived and opened the door of our holiday house, we felt like home. It was warm, Christmas lights were up and wood for fireplace ready! Kitchen has everything what one family needs, to cook a Christmas dinner and more! House looked like no one had stayed there before, like new! They even had wires to warm a car, ready to use! Amazing place, for amazing holiday!

Booked a cabin for one night (65 euros), very clean and nearby common facilities were superb (see pictures). Beginning of September, had luck with the weather, very quiet as season is over, but looks like it has enough space even when crowded in summer. A bit on the expensive side, but worth the money.

We spent weekend at Nallikari in our caravan. We had good time and staff were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and had enough space. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in camping.

It is a place where you can stay with a tent (as we did), a caravan or in a cottage. The staff was nice, there were quite new and clean showers (you need a pin code to access them). An inside kitchen is available (however it was crowded) and also quite a few outside (roofed) places to cook (and wash dishes). The resort is next to a public beach (with lots of mosquitoes). There is a free wifi in the resort, however it is not provided by the camp (it is a wifi of the Oulu city) and it is of very poor strength.

We spent one night in Nallikari and it was very nice. We had our own tent, stuff was very friendly and helpful. Service building number 2 has been renovated lately and showers were clean. Kitchen good size and well equipped.

I visited the place to rent cross country skiing equipment for the afternoon. Very smooth and super quality gear all for 7Euros. The receptionist girl has explained the use of the ski and gave me the correct size shoes. She also showed me the track and recommended to take that instead of the unsuitable and icy frozen sea the day I was there.

On the way to Lapland we stayed one night in a small cottage in Nallikari. The cottage was clean, the beds were good, the kitchen ok and the bathroom spacious. You have to make your own beds and cook your own breakfast but that was ok - we had a comfortable night with a very reasonable price and continued happily northwards afer a good nights sleep. I cannot recommend the small cottage to families with small children as the stairs to upstair beds are really steep. The promised free wifi did not work. In winter the services are few but what we needed we got and it was good.

Visited this place in the darkest days of the year between Xmas and the New Year. Everything was clean and smooth, exept the manual for the dishwasher that we could not start. Snow all around was fabulous. Wi-fi in the room could be expected in hi-tech country as Finland. Highly recomended!

It was our short visit there, me and my wife with our 4 kids. They love the unique attic room. It was quiet, peaceful, enjoying the mind-blowing frozen Gulf of Bothnian sea waves. We hoped to catch the Northern Light but no luck this time. One thing we regret is that we didn't bring enough food to cook or eat. No restaurants around except at Eden Hotel which is good but costly for us. Overall, this is the nearest awesome relaxing spot for us from the city of Oulu. On Sunday, bus number 15 starts at 10am hourly to the city centre.
