Our visit was nice, January 2022. We got a super good offer for 3 nights so we were happy with the price. The room was ok, bed ok. No microwave but also it wasn't promised, so ok. The hotel slippers, which are nice to have when you go to the spa, were for 3.5 €. We enjoyed the spa, it wasn't new but wasn't bad either. Was nice to swim in the swimming pool, there are areas with different depths, little "rivers" and things like that. Artificial but decent looking plants around. By the pool there were whirlpools with color changing lights and that was our favorite! Also we loved the steam sauna, very relaxing, it's both for men and women, but the steam makes it very foggy so you can't see much. I liked to sit there together with my spouse. A minus is, that when you go from your room to the spa, wearing a bath robe, you have to walk through the hotel lobby, and it was awkward when there was a crowd of freshly arrived tourists checking in, a whole bus of them. We were happy with the hotel breakfast. There was no table in the room, so if you want to write or to use your laptop, you have to sit on the bed. Not good for working or studying. We were in a Superior room.

Visited here now three times with family. Never back again. Cottages are handy, nice and well equipped. Spa starts to get age. Restaurants are okay but nothing special - good to know that you can get a proper poronkäristys from burgerrestaurant O'Leary's. Also little lake Petäjälampi is nice. But service (or lack of it) is something you won't miss. We was overcharged once and tries twice during last week. When tried to get these right they calculated prices wrong over and over again to prove they were right. When showing prices from web and normal calculations - they just don't believe you... Poor way to act from reception. Rest in peace Tropiikki.

We tought that if we pay over 100e per night we would get a modern room and spa with ac in room. Didnt get any of that. We only had a fan in our room. Its not very common in Finland that you dont have working ac in room The hotel is outdated and currently ubder renovation. We were told that we had a renovated room but I surely hope that it was not because the room was still from the 90's.

An OK spa which is in need of reparation, quite a lot of areas are very worn. A strange thing is that there is no cafeteria or bar at the pool area, that would be nice. There is a normal sauna and a steam sauna, the steam one is mixed for women and men.

Lovely hotel and apartments. Clean, tidy, helpful staff and everything you could possibly need for your duration of stay. Pool- was a nice pool but confusion over the changing rooms, how to get to the pool area, staff chasing people to shower before they get into the pool. Also after being in the pool, the changing rooms are freezing!! It felt like cold air was being blasted through the vents. Plus everyone was walking around in the changing rooms completely naked. It didn't bother us but can understand if it bothered some. Angry birds land- kids loved it! Was clean, safe and had water fountains and cups for kids to help themselves whilst in there. It was free during our stay with TUI. Not sure how much it would usually cost thought. Bowling- was fine and a friendly guy running it. Slightly expensive and then found out you also have to pay extra to hire the bowling shoes?! Olearys bar/restaurant- amazing food! Delicious and we thought it was a reasonable price for our family of 5. Hotel shop- perfect for milk, bread, snacks and treats etc. Expensive but handy to have it. Breakfast included with our package could have been a bit better. Would be nice to see items from a full English; sausage, scrambled eggs, baked beans etc. Other rhan that, was a nice choice. Apartments- equipped with everything you need for your stay. Lovely touch having a sauna in the rooms and the drying cupboard was well used by us. We went out for the day on Xmas, to Llamintupa Park. Hotel staff booked our taxi for us, it was €70 each way but was well worth it for all the cheap activities they provide. Was lovely for us to spend Xmas day there creating memories. Overall, I'd give the hotel a 9/10 and would definitely go back if I had the chance.

Just home from an Xmas stay at this hotel and it was almost perfect in every way. I'll start with the very small amount of cons which are: we chose to eat b&b but the breakfast choices weren't great for our children. There could have been more of a variety of food; maybe to include pastries, baked beans, sausages etc. Me and my husband were fine with the food though. The other only con is, if you're staying in an apartment/cottage, you have to walk around 5 minutes with your Suitcases and bags of ski suits and boots when you arrive. Which can be quite an effort if you have children with you too. Now on to the pros: we stayed in a 2 bedroom annexe apartment which was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The apartment was spacious, warm and very well sound proofed (probably the best sleep we've ever had on a holiday). Luckily we got to use the pool before the guidance changed and we were very happy with it. Changing rooms are absolutely freezing though and most people walk around completely naked. Olearys bar and restaurant is lovely and the food tasted amazing! Added bonus that it had angry birds land and bowling attached to it so you can make a real evening out of it. Hotel reception area was always spotlessly clean and staff very friendly. We booked with Tui and the reps were great with everything. Overall we'd give the entire stay a 9/10 and would definitely recommend

We stayed here for 3 nights in December 2 adults and 2 children (7+4) ,this review is only about the hotel for more information of my experience with Tui there is plenty of help and support groups on Facebook. Room We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow, the hotel and bungalow had a centre parcs feel about it. The bungalow was spacious, clean and modern with a sitting room with a smart TV a kitchen with sink, fridge freezer, oven and dishwasher. The room also had what looked like a fridge freezer when you walked in, but soon found out it was a cloths "oven", designed for drying and warming the cold weather suit you are supplied with by Tui Our bathroom had a washing machine, walk in shower and a sauna. The two bedrooms had single beds in our room they where pushed together and the children's room they where pushed apart. Both rooms had ample storage for a short stay. The only thing to be aware of with staying in the bungalows is they are the furthest from the main part of the hotel, reception, swimming pool and restaurant about a 10 minute walk, however the children loved being out in the snow Hotel As I said previously the hotel had a centre parcs feeling about it. The grounds are really big and looks beautiful covered in snow, with some large hills which my kids enjoyed sledging down There where plenty of sledges available for the kids to enjoy and where really useful for moving the suitcases from the reception to the room and back. the hotel was great in a secluded location about 25 to 30 minute walk from the nearest supermarket Swimming pool We found the swimming pool to be great the children loved it, the staff where not concerned with what you wore eg the men didn't need to wear speedo's, however they made sure you had showered before going into the pool. In the locker room you need a card to lock the locker provided, these where big enough to put your cold weather suits in, however be prepared for a lot of nudity the locals aren't body conscious or as reserved as us Brits and where happy to walk around in the changing room, sauna and steam room in the buff, it was actually mandatory to use the steam room and sauna with no trunks on, but you where allowed to go in with a towel to cover your modesty. Restaurant We stayed bed and breakfast so only eat in the restaurant in the mornings, We found the food fairly nice with a selection, don't get me wrong it was no 5 star all inclusive breakfast, but was enough choice to set you up for the day. Angry Birds and O'Learys We eat in O'Learys on the first day and my kids played in the angry birds fun park which they loved, it was supposed to be €10 each however when we went there was nobody to pay, so the kids just went in. The meal at O'Learys was very nice, just so you are aware Finland is not cheap and O'learys was no exception. Thus was a once in a life time trip and loved every minute of it, and would highly recommend it to anyone

Arriving in Finland, it was extremely well organised with a Tui short coach trip to Hotel. Family of four adults and two children, my husband and I booked a double room in the hotel which was very clean and warm, bathroom, shower very clean, lots of hot water, bathrobes provided but no kettle which we got from reception very easily. You need to take your own tea and coffee, milk can be purchased from hotel shop along with light snacks, drinks etc. Family of four had an apartment, it was brilliant, two bedrooms two bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen well equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, cupboard drier, log burner, sauna and balcony with seating area. Went on a B&B and evening meal basis, food was excellent with plenty of choice, soft drinks, tea and coffee was provided and water is safe to drink. Hotel has free to use swimming pools for their guests, a bit disappointing that the angry bird centre and bowling alley did not open until 2pm, therefore could not use as on organised trips, small arcade for children games. Trips to see reindeer and husky ride tasters were very good, well organised and a light soup and bread was provided for lunch. Trip to see Santa was excellent. On a three night stay an evening gala dinner was provided which was perfect lovely food and entertainment, fabulous atmosphere and evening fireworks Hotel has a restaurant for people on just B&B not sure if this would have been cheaper than half board as you did get one evening meal in with your price. I would guess it would be around £50 to £60 per head for a two course meal and drinks are more expensive than at home. Overall this hotel is magical with free sledges for the kids and it is in fabulous forest and lake surroundings for people who enjoy walking or cross country skiing. Would recommend
