Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed her for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Lapland and it was the perfect place! The hotel is warm and welcoming, not just in its beautiful decoration throughout, but also the demeanour of the staff who were friendly, fun and helpful. The room was beautiful with a separate lounge area, clean, beautifully decorated and cleaned daily. The food was exceptional. There was a wide choice for breakfast each day (I particularly loved the homemade granola which was delicious) and lots of savoury, sweet and juice/smoothie options - something for everyone. But the evening meal in the restaurant was something else! The flavours and the presentation made for what felt like a really special and exciting meal in a warm and romantic setting. Afterwards we went for drinks in what I think is called the garden room which again is decorated to perfection- We just loved the whole place.

My favorite hotel in Finland, just amazing Overall!Everything works like a Dream: service, staff, rooms, bed, shower, cleaning, breakfast. Loved the art and lights, and their GT. The restaurant is worth of visit, I tried reindeer dish and I was Happy about it. Many visitors don’t know that you can also book private time to sauna, it’s in the 4th floor.

Great location right in town by the river. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Max and Mark at reception are especially wonderful. Max directed us to Arktikum Garden as the best spot to enjoy non-setting of the sun (June 22). Thank you, Max!! Truly amazing. But be warned - plan on spending 3 hrs there - sun starts to drop slowly, drops behind the hills (but does not set) at 12:30-12:40 am, slowly drifts horizontally across before climbing above the hills at 2am. And be prepared for the squadron of mosquitos. Bug spray is essential. Bonfire across the river on midsummer eve is wonderful too!!

The room was very modern and quiet. The bathroom was also good sized. Breakfast had many choices and the food was constantly replenished. Very nice people at the front desk. Parking is a bit limited, but we had no issues. The central location of the hotel made going everywhere, including the airport, a breeze. We would definitely stay here again.

This centrally located hotel was opened in 2015 in a historical building as a stylish boutique hotel with plenty of Lapland atmosphere. This was our second stay here. In 2018, we stayed in a Polar Sauna room. This time we chose a Polar+ room (197 euros) which is a very spacious room. I would call it a suite because it had separate living and bedrooms. From the small balcony, we had a view of the Lumberjack's Candle Bridge, the iconic landmark of Rovaniemi. If you are not so much for a sauna, I would recommend this Polar+ room. The price tag is the same but in our opinion, the views and the interior of the Polar+ room are better. The breakfast is planned by the famous Finnish chef Sara La Fountain. It has very many elements. Everything was of high quality and tasty. The lobby bar with the attached glass terrace was a pleasant place to spend time. The staff (especially in the reception) was very friendly and helpful.
