Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Even if it has been a short stay we really liked this accommodation. Big but cozy houses by the lake with wonderful sauna and lots of useful facilities. Highly recommended if you like silence and nature

We have just returned from a wonderful few days. The peace and tranquillity are amazing. The organisation from start to finish were second to none, nothing was too much trouble and everyone, but especially Paula, went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect trip. The cabin was cosy and homely and having our dinner delivered each evening made it a real holiday. Paula planned and organised our activities, huskies, snow mobile, hotbtub and a little visit to the snow hotel, they were all great. We did not hire a car so Paula arranged our transportation and we were ably driven by Robert to our activities, what a luxury!

Fantastic place. We went there for a weekend trip in Lapland, everything was perfect, from the welcome of the host, to the super nice, beautiful and clean chalet, to the winter activities, saunas, and the food provided by the hosts. I higly recommend this place for couples, families or friends.

We were a group of 14 friends with children, we wanted to be in a more authentic place away from the crowds, and we had an amazing time thanks to Paola and Anna, and Kaisa. The place is idyllic, but what truly makes the difference is the attention to the details, the kindness, professionalism, the flexibility and willingness to go the extra step to make our stay truly special. All accommodations are simple, but clean and well cared for, with little details that make them homey. The food from the landlady is very good, especially the Christmas menu, or the salmon. We also loved both the smoke sauna and the hot tub under the trees, and as cherry to the cake, Paula and Anna came to call us because there was a little aurora borealis during that night, which we would have missed

Visited this place for 3 years ago for the first time in Christmas time. Our second visit was even better because we had more time to enjoy the nature, the darkness and the silence. These 3 cottages are just great. Excellent equipment and quality like Iittala and Finlayson. No IKEA stuff. There's enough space for everyone. Our daughters borrowed bicycles for free. We bicycled in the surroundings as well as we paddled with our own kayaks in the big Vietonen lake and small rivers. We wandered also a nature trail called Sompanen. So if you love nature, tranquility and good quality with friendly service, I can warmly recommend this unique place in Finnish Lapland.

I took my family on a 6 day journey to this paradise and everything turned out for the best! We enjoyed the ambiance, the environment and people over there. The house is cosy and lovely with its fire place, perfect to warm the entire family having dinner and a hot drink late in the evening. I will surely get back to this heaven on earth!

The brand new dead-wood cottage we had was absolutely beautiful. Raindeer walking around the cottage... and a few mosquitos too :-) Lots of activities in the surroundings, such as boating on the lake, playing darts, outdoor hot tub, sauna (of course). Wonderful experience!
