When kindness and benevolence meet nature and authenticity it gives that, District hotel. Even though I have traveled a lot in places as luxurious as they are simple, I had never felt such relief. the place facing the lake is just breathtaking, the hoteliers of unparalleled kindness. It was a dream to visit Lapland, it has become sublime and real thanks in large part to this establishment.

I definitely recommend this experience. Katy and Gigi really take care about their customers. They prepared to us and the resto of customers a bonfire to warm us while we were waiting to see (or at least try) the Northern lights. Also, the place has something special, it's stunning! Thanks!!

The location is lovely, 20min only from the city center: surrounded by Nature, we enjoyed the peaceful environment, the river just behind our yurt, the sausage grilled on open fire, the sauna and of course the yurt. Warm, cozy, clean, confortable, there is a fridge inside and 3 heaters! And our host, Kati, was very kind and available... Thank you for this great moment, hopefully we will come back in summertime to enjoy the midnight sun!

We spent only one night in there. It was a lovely memory for us. My son really enjoyed playing snow outside. At night we could see a lot of stars. Although the toilet was separated outside but it’s totally fine for us. Both 2 toilets and showers were so warm inside and clean. Only one a bit problem for us was the room because there were a few heaters inside the yurt made us feel a bit sick and dry at night. Still very good place to stay. Staffs were friendly. A lot of complimentary food such as ham, cheese, juice, cookies, breads, yogurts and fruits. Can park the car in front of the yurt. Very convenient Highly recommend ;)

This was by far our best accommodation of the whole trip. The yurts are set by the river in the beautiful and peaceful Finnish countryside. The yurts themselves are very well appointed and contain everything you might need, including snacks and cute decorations that you can also purchase. The staff are really friendly and had lit the outside fire for us to sit by, and bought blankets to keep us warm. This inspired us to cook some food there, using a metal grill that the staff kindly provided. There is also a sauna on site for an extra charge. The toilets are shared, but are very clean and well made with underfloor heating and a very good shower. Everything at these accommodations has been well thought out and executed. A thoroughly delightful trip, we hope to stay again.

The best accommondation in our journey in Lappland! Yurts are really cozy and warm. The atmosphere is really relaxing. The service is kind. We will definitely visit this place again! Kids loved the place also.
