Haawe features 12 rooms and two suites. The rooms are either cosy Superior rooms suitable for two to three people or spacious Deluxe rooms for two to four people. Our spacious, luxuriously furnished suites can accommodate from two to six people, and they all have their own spa rooms and saunas. All our rooms and suites are distinct from each other, but they have a few Haawe-style features in common. They all have a comfortable king-size bed and high-quality bed linen. Each bathroom has a rain shower, and all rooms have their own kitchen. The fabrics and tableware in the rooms are of high-quality Finnish design, and we have also paid extra attention to the bathroom amenities. So feel free to enjoy your stay!

We stayed at Hawe Boutique for 4 nights. We booked into the Kota room which was ample for 2 people. I cannot recommend enough how we enjoyed staying here. The room has everything you need, a refrigerator full of food, milk, eggs, juice, meat, cheese, fruit, butter, jam/marmalade, chocolate, yoghurts and then cereal and bread, we unfortunately hardly touched it as we were out early and in late everyday. The bathroom has everything you will need, toothbrush/toothpaste, combs, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, shower caps, razer and cream, vanity pack, shoe polish!, hairdryer. The room was very clean with a comfy bed although the pillows were very soft. The only downside was that if you have an early flight you cannot get into your room until 4pm, storage downstairs for suitcases with key codes. Loved it here.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed in, and is certainly the best value for money. Modern, centrally-located and very well-appointed, everything about this place shone out as positive. We stayed in the Giassa Room (each is individually named).
Free laundry facilities, along with the best self-serve breakfast we've ever seen topped things off well.
Would go out of our way to stay there again if visiting the region.

This is one of my all-time favorite hotels for design. We stayed as a couple, but they have suites that would work for families. It had a great bathroom and shower with heated floors. The kitchenette was great for making breakfast or grabbing a mid-day snack. The food provided for breakfast was more than enough food for two people. The location in the city center was perfect for walking to restaurants or tour company offices. Housekeeping happens later in the day since most people are up late searching for the Northern Lights. If you are looking for a hotel with a full-service front desk, this is not the place for you. If you want an Airbnb feel with the convenience of a hotel and daily housekeeping, this is the place for you. The price was kind of a splurge for us, but you are paying for location. I will definitely stay here again!

My stay at Hanki Room for five nights was far from enjoyable. The hotel's cool design is its only redeeming quality. The rest of my experience was marred by discomfort and disappointment.
To begin with, the bed design is terrible. A wooden board sits flush with the top of the mattress, so my pillow slipped onto the board throughout the night. The mattress was also too soft and worn, causing aches all over.
The housekeeping service was equally disappointing. Despite our request for service on Wednesday, the staff only refilled our fridge, took out trash, and didn't even bother to make the bed or refill the bath salts.
The worst part of our stay, however, was the loss of personal items. Three of my crystal bracelets disappeared from our room. After reviewing photos and timestamps, I could confirm that the bracelets were last seen in our hotel room on Thursday night.
On that day, we had gone out for dinner next door, and returned to Haawe to get changed for an ATV activity. Knowing that it's a kind of sporty activity, I have intentionally left the bracelets inside my room . The next morning was a visit to a Wolfdog farm. I had left the bracelets on the coffee table in our room to avoid damaging them. Our only interaction on Friday with the hotel staff that day was a request via Whatsapp for more salmon, water, and bath salts, items were refilled so I am sure someone came into my room that day.
Since then, the bracelets have never been seen again. I contacted the hotel with detailed information about the timeline and requested their help in finding the bracelets. These items were not just valuable but also held a sentimental value as they were blessed specifically for me in a temple.
Despite my pleas, the hotel staff simply stated that they couldn't find the bracelets. Further attempts to communicate with the customer service to request them to look into the case to avoid similar situations in happening again for other customers through Whatsapp were met with silence.
In conclusion, I would not recommend staying at Hanki Hotel. The discomfort, poor service, and loss of personal items turned our stay into a nightmare. Please consider my experience before deciding to stay here.

Dear Gigi Wong, Warm greeting! We express our gratitude for sparing your valuable time to provide feedback on our hotel. It deeply saddens us to learn about the unfortunate incident of losing your bracelet during your stay. We have thoroughly investigated the situation and responded to you. After your message, we thoroughly inspected the room in the hope of finding your lost item, but unfortunately, we did not locate your bracelet. In light of the situation, we understand your concerns and the potential frustration this incident may have caused. We appreciate your feedback and sharing your concerns. We will enhance our services in light of the situation that you have brought to our attention. Additionally, about the housekeeping part, concerning the matter of the unmade bed, through communication with our housekeeper, at the time, there were many of your items piled on the bed, so our housekeeping staff assumed you preferred us not to touch your personal belongings. This misunderstanding resulted in oversight, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We extend our deepest apologize for the unpleasant experience during your stay and appreciate your constructive feedback. Be assured that we are dedicated to elevating all facets of our services to ensure our guests enjoy a truly comfortable and satisfying stay. Warm regards, Yolanda Hotel manager

LOCATION WAS THE HIGHLIGHT of this hotel. We were RIGHT in the middle of town and could walk to every tour start point + all the restaurants we needed.
Delivery food was easy to this hotel, but there is no restaurant on site.
The room is quite small, you have to walk through the shower to get to the bathroom which I didnt love, but it was a comfortable bed.
There is a 'kitchen' that came stocked with basic snacks for breakfast. I didn't eat any of those things, and didn't care about that benefit.
I also was able to contact the hotel receptionist with questions via Whatsapp and they were very responsive and helpful. They couldn't accommodate our early check in, but we stored our luggage. Hotel has great storage in the basement for early or late arrivals (massive locker to put your luggage in while you explore for the day).
The fireplace in the room is just for show, its orange lights and gas, not a way to warm up.
They have a taxi call button in the lobby, where you can reserve taxis. We booked a 3am ride to the airport and they were there early...I was nervous about this.

The accomodation is very beautifully decorated, cosy, warm, special, modern, well designed, big enough, We stayed in 'Waterfall' with two persons. The kitchen is well equiped with a good dishwasher, microwave, cooker, kettle, fridge.
You receive a code to get into the hotel and into your room, so there is no one at the reception. In your fridge you find a good product range (reindeer salami, salmon, eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, cereals, ...) for breakfast. If you like to meet other people this is not the place to stay, but otherwise, it 's perfect.

One of the most amazing hotels I've visited. Located in the best area of Rovaniemi and with the best amenities I've ever seen in a hotel. A whole fridge full of drinks, food (salmon, eggs, avocado, fruite, milk,....) included in the price. Design is incredible and the space of the room excees the average. I will definitely come back to same hotel

This hotel is a small centrally located apartment hotel. The building is from 1933 and did survive the war.
There are 14 apartments. Everyone has a different decor and the name of the room reflects that.
We prefer usually a hotel with full services but this hotel looked so interesting in the photos that we wanted to see it.
The check-in time is at 16:00 but at 14:09 I got an SMS that our ICE room is ready. Earlier I already received the codes for the street entrance and our room door.
The ICE room is very stylishly lit. There is a big design bathtub and a separate rain shower. You could find high-quality Rituals toiletries, bathrobes, shaving kits, toothbrushes, etc.
Every room has a kitchenette with everything one could expect to need. From the fridge, you found the food for your breakfast. It is included in the room price. There was so much food that we ate already part of it in the evening.
We didn't see anybody from the staff but you can get connected with them if you want. There was a button for that in the small lobby. Also, there was a comprehensive manual for the room equipment in the room. The light switches were the most complicated part of our room.
There is a luggage room with big closets that can be locked. With the street entrance code, you have access there.
Our stay had a good value for the paid 192 euros.

The experience begins when you step inside the hotel: it smells great, you hear music and step into an atmospheric hallway. Every room is unique and ours, Rakka, was lovely. The decoration was very well-thought and all products and materials in the room felt luxurious.
The breakfast was in the hotel fridge and it was plentiful. Although we couldn't help but wonder what happens to all the left over food. There was way too much for two people to finish during one day. Also we wondered about the recycling: there was only one trash bin in the kitchen which didn't feel too ecological.
Check-in and check-out was very easy: you receive a code beforehand which works as a key.
We can't wait to try the other rooms.

This boutique hotel offers an affordable, modern stay in downtown Rovaniemi. If you appreciate architecture and design aesthetics, this hotel is a great fit for you. Each room is uniquely designed to encompass a different cultural theme of Lapland. We elected to stay in the Laavu (Lean-To) room, which is the perfect size for a couple and includes an electric fireplace.
The room includes local Finnish touches, such as Iittala dishware and Marimekko mugs and bathrobes. These are well known brands that we continued to see at other Lapland hotels and I was able to purchase them at their respective shops in Santa Claus Village.
Unlike most other hotels in Rovaniemi, Haawe does not have a traditional reception desk and provides you with electronic codes to enter the hotel and your guest room. Although this system is very efficient and streamlined, unfortunately we did run into an issue where the fireplace started beeping loudly and we were unable to use it during the second night of our stay (a huge letdown). The hotel responded the next day stating the water in the water tank was likely running low and needed to be refilled. It would have been helpful for the hotel to include this in the room instructions to ensure guests can get full use of the amenities provided.
