Resort was amazing, and everything was brilliant. Stunning views! Great for couples weekend off. Perfect engagement trip, unforgettable times. Resort staff was super helpful, and helped my man to excecute his engagement plan. We highly recommend this resort!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel! We had a dreamy experience, and we felt so lucky everyday to be there. The included breakfast is AMAZING! Dinner was always fancy and delicious, and the menu is very traditional Lapland cuisine, but they will happily accommodate picky eaters too! Every single hotel employee that we interacted with was wonderful, but our favorite was our server Nathalie! You really can’t go wrong choosing this hotel. Beautiful, clean, and luxurious. Easy communication with the front desk via chat on a tablet in the room. Gorgeous views out the massive windows. So fun to spend an evening in the jacuzzi whether catching snowflakes or star gazing. I just wish we could go back!
We had great vacation here! Igloo was bigger than we expected, hot spring was amazing! Absolut luxury. Staff was excellent and very helpful! Sauna is amazing also was pleasant to come back to igloo from afternoon trip when the igloo was cleaned etc.
Absolutely perfect from start to finish! Being picked up from the airport (by Nathan) to the bag's being dropped off at our igloo to the little tour of the igloo and some useful information,to the gretting every morning, afternoon, evening from reception and staff in the restaurant to the food, coming from a chef myself it was outstanding. You never know what these places might have on their menu, whether they do traditional food or cater for the tourists with fish and chips but this was proper finish food and i loved every meal me and my partner had. The most beautiful surroundings, the hot tub with that view was amazing,i could have stayed in there for days. Everything in good walking distance from the resort to the little village with shops and other little bit's to keep you busy. To top the holiday off we got to see the northern lights twice, once on a lake in the middle of nowhere with 2 metres of snow to climb through and once in the resort itself,we were blown away and had a great chat with one of the staff (joona) who does trip's to hunt for the northern lights himself but he was so excited to join us outside to see them and we ended up talking for ages about the lights. The staff care so much about all their jobs and you can really tell. If yoy want the holiday of a lifetime,go here. I for one will be planning to go back,i didn't want to leave. Thankyou so much for everything. With out a doubt a 5* experience.…
We had high expectations of this hotel and were very happy when the hotel lived up to them. The rooms are amazing, the staff super helpful (beyond what you would expect even) and the food amazing. Everything was perfect and we would happily stay here again! (we came as part of a large group and everyone shared our sentiments)
We went to the Glass Resort to celebrate a special birthday and it proved to be a great choice. The igloos are modern, clean , comfortable and well equipped. The staff couldn't do enough for us to make our stay perfect and we were always greeted by a smile by everyone, this made all the difference. The hot tub is a fab addition to the igloo and we used it every day, it was a good temperature but I do recommend a hat in that cold Arctic wind! We didn't see the lights from our igloo but it is definitely a possibility at certain times , a North facing igloo might have provided a better opportunity. The food in the hotel is very good quality but do expect real Finnish cuisine! All in all we had a lovely relaxing time and were able to do many activities in a short distance from the accommodation including a days skiing which was a bonus!…
This hotel is simply incredible! The rooms are great and the staff super friendly and helpful (shout outs to Nathan and Joona and the rest of the team). A big highlight for us was the private hot tubs (one of the reasons we booked) - these really did not disappoint and it was so great to be able to take in the picturesque winter surroundings whilst sitting in it. The hotel has a restaurant which does some really great food which was a massive bonus considering that there are few eateries in the immediate area. They even do a tasting menu which is well worth a try. Room tip: ask for one of the further rooms overlooking the forest (looking north) as they are a bit more private. Other tips: Speak to Joona for northern lights tours as he also works for a great one. And try the Salmon from Santa's Salmon Shop in the Santa Clause village, its amazing.…
We had the most incredible holiday and everything about Glass Resort is just astounding. The glass igloo was excellent - sparkling clean, great attention to detail with decor, everything about it was 5*. When we arrived our bags were taken to our igloo whilst we checked in, then 10 minutes later someone came over to explain how things work (hot tub, sauna etc) and went over any questions with us, or gave us some really good tips. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was amazing, too. Relaxed atmosphere with great food. There could be more choices on the menu for vegetarians/vegans (we only found out about a couple extra options they might have by my partner asking) because three nights of the roasted hemp cheese might’ve been too much for me! But actually it was so tasty, I really enjoyed it. We came back one evening to find a special surprise of a mini bottle of champagne and a rose waiting for us in our igloo - so sweet and made us feel so special. One night we left the restaurant and managed to see the Northern Lights over the resort - incredible. That’s when we got talking to one of the staff members and he was so lovely, he showed us his photos of the lights and everything. You can tell that the people working here love what they are doing. Thank you Glass Resort for such a memorable holiday and what a breathtaking stay at your resort. Special thanks to Joona (for sharing our excitement of the lights, all your knowledge, and showing us your photos!), Nathan (for collecting us from the airport and giving us our starter talk and tips), and all the restaurant staff (sorry we didn’t get all your names!) for being so friendly and welcoming at breakfast and dinner. We didn’t want to leave! Hopefully we’ll be back one day. From Linden & James.…
The stay lived up to and exceeded my expectations, often photos give an enhanced image of real life but somehow Glass Resort was better in the flesh. It had the wow factor as we walked in and it just kept getting better. We booked the airport transport and Nathan was very welcoming and sorted our luggage to our apartment, he also bought the drinks we ordered and made us feel like the only guests he was looking after. We pre-ordered a cheese platter and it was waiting for us in out apartment on arrival. The portion size was spot on and a good selection of cheese and biscuits. They have thought of everything, the tablets in the room to allow you to communicate with the reception and order your drinks, the lantern inside the door to get to the hot tub, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Location is also perfect, it’s enough out of the Santa Claus village that you forget you are there but very short walking distance. Breakfast is in the main restaurant and it’s a beautiful view, there was a wide selection of food and anywhere serving chocolate treats for breakfast gets my vote. I highly recommend Glass Resort if you are after a luxurious treat.…
So I will start by saying that this was one of the best hotels I ever been in, in terms of location, service, staff, food, activities, ease of transportation, ease of communication, amazing value, cleanness, Jacuzzi cleanness, warmth .. literally everything !!! Also, I want to say thanks to Joona, Ville, Pritta, Nathan and old the staff members in Glass Resort. AGAINTHANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR VACATION MEMORABLE. We actually tried to extend our stay but because this hotel is amazing it was fully booked. Breakfast was expectational too! 3 days isn't enough in this hotel.. stay longer and enjoy it.
