Arctic TreeHouse Hotel provides a unique blend of luxury comfort in the heart of Arctic nature, local Lappish traditions and modern Scandinavian design.

Morning in the forest inspired the interior design for their Arctic TreeHouse Suites. The gentle, warm natural materials combined with light shades enhance the nest-like ambiance of the suites. Seven suites have a kitchenette and they can be connected to the adjacent rooms to form a family suite.

Their five Arctic GlassHouses have two bedrooms that comfortably accommodate up to six persons. Each cabin has its own fireplace, sauna and kitchenette.

The luxurious ArcticScene Executive Suites all have a separate living room and bedroom, and a special wellness area for a spa-like atmosphere.

Hello there,,

The Arctic Treehouse hotel comes extremely recommended, they made our stay very comfortable and accommodated our wishes well.
They have a great breakfast (although somewhat limited in variety), the restaurant serves an amazing lunch and dinner.
The rooms were very nice and warm (sometimes too warm) and very modern.. they make for great instagram pictures as well.. the huge glass window overlooking the frozen trees is amazing to wake up to!
They have great tour partners and somewhat fairly priced with very friendly guides, they do what they can to book you even last minute.
The hotel is highly recommended, Enjoy!

Best regards,
Fahad A.

This is five million star hotel (if it’s not cloudy) plus aurora on the top of it! I had amazing experience. Guys from the hotel response to all of my requests, all of them are young and pleasant people and I am really thankful that I’ve been here. Also, Rakas restaurant which is part of the hotel has the kindest staff ever... All of them, indeed. So pleasant, kind, funny... especially adorable blond girl, she made my evenings even more beautiful with her manners and courtesy! All in all, this place should be on your bucket list!

We stayed for three nights over a long weekend in January. The hotel itself is beautiful. Stunning design. Think high end ski lodge with soft furnishings everywhere.
We arrived early (well before check-in time) but they started the paperwork already to check us in so when we arrived back later we could go straight to the room (2 hours early!).
The "nest" was beautiful. We had number 51 which is one of the front nests and is so worth it for the privacy. I've attached pictures of the view. The details in the room are perfect. The hotel has cars which will take you to the nest. The room has bathrobes, slippers, safe, hairdryer , all the amenities you could want. The temperature is controlled at reception but they were quick to adjust this via WhatsApp.
We had breakfast at Rakas and there was so much variety. We were so impressed we tried dinner and lunch there as well. The food is divine. The moose carpaccio and perch were particular favourites. Little details like stamping the name of the restaurant on top of the burger were particularly cute. I also recommend you try the glögi!
I'd read a lot of reviews about the staff being inexperienced but we did not find that at all. They were on it with everything. Their WhatsApp communication was speedy, and they helped us with booking cabs to and from the hotel. Special shout out to Polyanna and Johannes, plus all the staff at Rakas.
Location wise, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get into town by cab.
Stay here whenever you can!

Rovaniemi is a small town located in the far north of Finland, in Lapland and almost inside the Arctic Circle (which I did actually get to cross into :-))
This quaint hotel has a selection of room types and I was really spoilt and was afforded a stay in the ArcticScene Executive Suite as well as the Arctic GlassHouse. Both room categories are absolutely beautiful, comfortable, warm, snuggly, romantic, and quite like nothing else I have stayed in. The bath in the ArcticScene suite is incredible! It has a huge window that overlooks the forest and when you want more privacy, a quick press of a button mists the window entirely. Very cool feature. I love being in nature and at the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, that is exactly what you feel like, all around you there are pine trees, hares, squirrels and snow flakes. I was there on business, their SantaPark venue hosted an event for us, and I can speak true testament to the staff from planning, to check in, to the event to the food. I felt as though I was working with family.
One final compliment I can give is for the restaurant RAKAS! They have a great selection of food and even vegan options including the Beyond Meat Burger!!!

This was the highlight of our two week honeymoon. We were treated to 5 star service the whole time we were there. We were greeted on arrival by staff with hot drinks and driven to our accommodation by the in-house team, who carried our bags in for us and found champagne chilling on ice with a lovely note about our honeymoon. We checked in early, this was not a problem and were given our key straight away. Staff suggested we look around the complex and go up to their tree top look out tower giving views of the whole area. Would highly recommended getting there early to make the most of the complex before it gets dark.
We had a front row cabin and looked out into the forest, easily the best view with no one in front of us, just the magical views. It was really clean and everything provided in the room. We also pre-booked a meal at the Rakas Restaurant, would highly recommend booking as the food and service was fantastic. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Finland. The complex was perfect for couples wanting to escape and spend a romantic time together. We had very high expectations and it certainly did not disappoint, wish we had booked to stay longer.

Our room faced into a forest of continually snow covered trees. The room was small and extremely expensive. The service was good and the staff was very good. WIFI worked well and there was a shuttle to the main part of the hotel where the restaurant was. The food was above average and had an acceptable ala cart menu. Breakfast was very good and they would even bring it to the room

I stayed with my husband and 7-year-old daughter for 3 nights in November 2021. There was snow on the ground, and the whole atmosphere was magical.

The breakfast is amazing (make sure you try the spruce sprig powder!) and sitting by the fire with a cup of hot glögi is unforgettable.

Saku and all the rest of the staff were very helpful. When my husband's bag didn't arrive the first day, they even lent him warm clothes so that we could go outside.

The location is great. We walked to the Santa Claus Village very easily, and Arktikum was easy to get to by bus.

The cabins are nicely designed, and if you have a small kid, the little bunkbed is perfect. My only complaint was that there was no way to open the windows inside, and the room could get very dry because of the heating. Still, this was a perfect winter escape for our family!

We absolutely loved our stay at Arctic TreeHouse Hotel. The view from the room was spectacular, and we had a lot of snow during our stay so waking up to the snowy trees was just beautiful. The room itself is fairly spacious, though the bathroom is quite small and the shower is pretty tight to get in and out of. The staff during our stay were really helpful and attentive, and when we had questions, were very responsive via WhatsApp. We booked an excursion through them for Arctic Floating which was a lot of fun and the tour guide was great. We visited the restaurant a few times for lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast each day. All visits to the restaurant were fine but the menu is quite limited and not to everyone's taste, but what was served was lovely. We would definitely recommend hiring a car if you stay here as the town is 10 minutes away and not walking distance (unless you're happy to walk 1+ hour) and taxis can get quite expensive if you're going back and forth. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a luxury Lapland experience.

It looks lovely in the picture but was garbage.
There is no saunas in the rooms even the 450 Euro per night.
Tiny additional beds (see attached photos)
Had to wait 20 minutes for breakfast. No service and tables were left a mess (photo)
Hairs from previous guest on the bed and cigarettes left at the front (photo)
Stairs very steep and slippery to rooms. Older people would struggle

I know people travel a considerable distance to see these place so it is worth booking an Air bnb or apartment in Riovenami

Dear Nayeefa Thank you for the question. The Northern Lights are visible from Oct to March and can be see right from the comfort of the hotel rooms, should the weather conditions be optimal. Dear Kristine P Thank you for the question. Depending on what time of the year you come the activities vary. Certainly their will be more than enough options to for the whole family to participate in. Should you come in Nov or Dec, there are many Christmas activities as well as winter snow activities. Our Restaurant offer traditional Lappish cuisine with a modern twist. We do offer options for children like Mac & Cheese, Chicken, Salmons & fries as well as a kiddie burger. Hi, so far as I know, the maximum number of people could stay in a cabin is 3 adults, not very possible to add an extra bed inside, due to each cabin size is quite small. However, it's better to contact the hotel directly, probably they help you better, they are very friendly and helpful at the front desk, and they speak English well too, do contact them.
