Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arrived with great expectations despite it only being a two star hotel but with a pool near a river & a celebrated chef we thought let's go as the region has much to offer. Didn't realise it was on a fairly busy road but it is very clean. Not sure many same sex couples arrive with a child so prepared to be a novelty. Frosty but polite welcome. Announced that one adult is diary intolerant to give some warning although this was later conveniently forgotten. Arrived to our table a little earlier then waited over half an hour for a waitress to take any notice despite watching her serve a table that arrived after us but it was possible they were local and a regular so why not. Discussion at point of ordering although it felt rather rushed. Our wine plonked on table to serve ourselves without being given offer to taste first or see the cork. I had the 37 euro menu with seafood on lettuce followed by Zander which I felt was a small portion until much time after having consumed my meal I was offered the rice that had been forgotten but it came with butter! Child meal was a good portion and great value. My pretty sorbet arrived with strawberries on cream! Breakfast was bread & jam with a glass of juice. Room with a double and single was good value at euro 80 but then a couple of drinks, a bottle of Rose for 20 euro & final bill at 250 euro was less exciting given I left both meals feeling hungry. Perhaps the venue is for locals & has no need for repeat business from us passing by?

My husband and I stumbled on this lovely little newly renovated hotel by the river. The room was very nicely furnished, if small, and certainly fine for an overnight stay. However, the restaurant was first class. We had a superb meal for under 25 euros each. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and very cosy and clean. My husband was particularly impressed with the cheese trolley as this has all but disappeared from restaurants these days. I loved the chef's speciality dishes.

This is a modernised classic Logis de France hotel. The whole building is modernized: pleasant modern rooms. The hotel is simple but updated well. It is not far from the A75. The kitchen is really worthwhile although the card is restricted. Very friendly, no nonsense, service by the owners.
