At first, the room seemed rather small and plain but in the end I realized it was quite comfortable. The bed was narrow but comfortable, too. The overall service was excellent and the dinner at the restaurant absolutely fabulous!
We had a small but really beutifull room. Everything was clean and the staff was really kind and helpfull. They offer a lot of serevices like free parking, a stunning sauna with view on the iced river. They also have a traditional restaurant the unfortunately i couldn't try. The brekfast was amazing.
The hotel consists of two buildings; the older one (tradition hotel) has some rooms and the restaurant and great atmosphere. The other building (river hotel) has rooms as well with rapid views and saunas at each room. Thus I would recommend to book rooms here if possible.. The rooms are quite basic but yet functional. There is plenty of complimentary parking space next to buildings. The service was friendly. Good price-value.
Good welcome by the staff, room is very nice, with a balcony to the river side, with a forest impression due to trees all around. Proximity of walking tracks and village center. Breakfast was excellent with changes every morning
Very nicely situated close by the river. Room had decent standard, although we missed the fridge. Sleeping quality is good, no noise from surroundings or other guests. Ok bathroom with shower. Nice breakfast buffet. Good dinner based on traditional Same recipe in the hotel restaurant. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
We love "our" room in the building where rooms have private saunas. Cosy, clean and quaint. Dogs like the patio. Window is facing towards the rapids of River Juutua. Customer service is lovely. Walking distance from the centre of Inari.
The hotel was build in 1930's and the main building stems from that time. The rooms are small, but nicely renovated. Try to get a room with a view towards the Juutua river. There is also a new building, with bigger rooms, but the original building is more authentic and cosy. Good location, walking distance to Siida museum, the few restaurants in Inari and some shorter walking trails. Service at the reception & from the owner is appropriate and to the point, but a bit leery and not really super welcoming. The hotel restaurant Aanar is by far the best restaurant in Inari - competing in standard with best restaurants in Helsinki.
A food haven in Inari, Hotel Kultahovi’s restaurant Aanar. Definitely worth a longer drive, too. We are truly amazed. Adventurous, delicious and beautiful with warm service. Quality, not just quantity. Not cheap but not a rip-off either. Wowowow!
We stayed in Inarin Kultahovi for 3 nights enjoying of the great athmosphere and nature by the river, hiking to the hills And picking cloudberries. The dinners were... kind of art, maybe best I’ve ever had.
We thoroughly enjoyed the older traditional style of the main building, in a delightful setting beside the river. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the Sami Centre and the central part of the village. The room was very comfortable and the service was friendly, welcoming and excellent.
