The room was not very large for two people, but it was fully equipped. Shower with curtain is a bit old-fashioned. The rooms are a bit noisy. There is a common room where you can cook and make coffee/tea. There is also a rowing boat and a SUP board available for free. The park is beautifully located near Savonlinna and Lake Saaima. The breakfast was tasty (the hot food could have been a bit warmer) and there was a bit of everything; even mushrooms freshly harvested from the forest! The breakfast room could use a makeover. The staff was very friendly and ready to help you.

Clean, uptaded and cozy room, the bed was good. Simple, but good self service breakfast, good coffee. Quiet and beautiful views, here you are close to nature. At this price we couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

Once again visiting this lovely place in the countryside, by a beautiful lake. Had some technical issues with booking - called them and everything was settled quickly, lake view for all adjacent 3 rooms. Good breakfast, very friendly staff. Big nice garden, separate sauna etc.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night with our 8mo daughter and our dog. The staff were very accomodating and friendly, and we got a lovely bottom-floor apartment right beside the lake. The views were excellent.
While the house was also nice, the residents in the top floor caused the roof to creak well into the night, disturbing us and our baby. I’d recommend not staying in B1 if you want a quiet evening.
The sauna we had while there was lovely but surprisingly cost €25, which was not mentioned until after we’d used it. We were also not able to check in to the room upon the agreed time as the staff were still cleaning for a good 50+ minutes after the check in time.
Overall quite nice but not worth the cost imo.

Our visit was brief - in and out in about 5 minutes. The reception smelled like old cigarettes, the room was so small that it was ridicioulous. It was also so near the parking and so low that you could see in from a car.
We decided to go elsewhere.

Visited here in the midst of July. The place is not far from Savonlinna, by a small lake. Rooms are small but cozy. The air conditioning did not work very well, maybe because of the hot summer days. We stayed on the second floor and I suppose that the people in the first floor could hear our steps. We could sense a vague smell of "old house", like mould, but were not so sure about that. We had or regular morning swim in the lake too. The lake is beautiful but there is no actual beach at all. The breakfast was very good, nothing to complain about it. The personnel in the hotel is very friendly.

Already during the booking process I got the feeling that the service in this place would be very friendly. I was specifically searching for a place with a sauna and the ability to jump into a lake directly from the sauna. The woman who exploits this place told me it would take seven steps to jump into the water... ok, maybe it will be 12 steps, but all that was promised came true. The rooms have a simple, but good standard. If you are on time with booking, there is also a lake side apartment with balcony and villa that you can rent. Breakfast is of a good quality and tasty and included in the price (at this moment). Also other amenities like coffee, a glass of wine and usage of the sauna are included in the price. I don’t understand how they can provide all this value for such a friendly price. It is definitely worth a lot more in my book. So I warmheartedly recommend this place and hope for the owners that it will be a very successful business for them, they deserve it.

Stayed in this hotel during the Savonlinna Opera Festival. Location is very beautiful at the lakeside, quiet and neat place. My apartment was roomy and neat, personnel were very friendly and helpful, what ever you needed. They organized transportation to the Savonlinna town and back with their van at very reasonable cost. The owner has additionally an airline flying Helsinki - Savonlinna - Helsinki on their Saab 340 (?), which is a big plus. Breakfast was buffet type and very good. If you do not expect any 5 star hotel, and appreciate quiet and beautiful countryside / lakeside location, this is the place only 5 miles (8 km) from Savonlinna.

It is located by the lake, you can go swimming anytime. Location is very quiet. Rooms are small but ok for sleeping. Comfortable beds and white bed sheet. Ok wifi, tv signal not so stable. Bathroom a bit old. There is fan in the room and you can keep window open, netted. Breakfast is nice, wide selection : porridge, eggs, yoghur, cheese and sausages. Nice stay and pleasant service. By car may be 10 minutes from Savonlinna.
