Located on the shores of Lake Saimaa in the Punkaharju National Landscape, the charming Villa Urhola was built in 1903 and renovated into a boutique hotel respecting the old Art Nouveau style. A short walk from the main building of Kruunupuisto, staying in this peaceful and historic setting gives you a touch of nostalgia while enjoying well-equipped hotel rooms. The villa has 11 twin rooms and one single room. All rooms have a free Wi-Fi, private bathroom, TV, telephone, hair dryer and electric kettle. The ground floor of the villa has a sauna with a sauna cabinet for relaxation. If you wish, you can book the entire villa for private use. Restaurant services are available in the main building or catering is provided in the villa on request. All the services of Health Resort Kruunupuisto are available, including free use of spa and gym.

Villa is beautiful, historical Jugend house, which is part of Hotel Kruununpuisto. The complex has wide sport and wellness facilities, including swimming pools, gyms, beaches, bike rentals etc. Location is great for sports and outdoors activities. Breakfast was served at the hotel, 500m away from the Villa.
Our room did not have air conditioning, it was really hot weather and there was only a tiny fan for the room. The window did not have mesh for mosquitos, so we could not keep the window open during the night. The air in the room was a bit stale and it was hard to sleep due the high temperature. As we mentioned these to the personnel, it sounded that these were known issues and there were no plans to improve the situation.
Otherwise we liked the accommodation, but would not go again on hot weather.

Rauhallinen sijainti ja kaunis huvila veden äärellä. Upeat ulkoilualueet . Huvila on kunnostettu tyylilleen sopivaksi. Korkeissa huoneissa on kauniita koristetakkoja ja moderni kylpyhuone sekä hyvät sängyt. Lähellä sijaitsevassa Inkeritalossa toimii vohvelikahvila ja anniskeluterassi. Aamiainen ja muut ravintolapalvelut ovat 800m päässä päätalossa, joka on varsin laitosmainen. Päätalossa on myös kylpylä ja erilaisia hoitoja. Olisin toivonut Villa Urholan aamupalan olevan vaikka Inkeritalossa tai paikanpäällä huvilassa. Aamiainen oli kuitenkin hyvä ja lämpimiä ruokia oli myös tarjolla. Villa Urholaan ensi kesänä uudelleen!

Villa Urholan huoneet olivat viehättäviä ja siistejä. Hotelli Kruunupuiston aamupalalla jäimme kaipaamaan tuoretta leipää, vuodenajan mukaisia kasviksia ja marjoja. Tilojen viihtyvyyteen voisi panostaa (muovikukat pois, tilalle vuodenajan mukaisia kukkia/oksia). Ravintolan palvelu ei ollut ystävällistä. Vastaanoton palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä.
