The hotel consists of two buildings - the old charming manor house and a new building, tastfully done. The yard is dominated by fine oak trees. Accommodation was fine and food as well, all clean and functional. The highlight was meatballs in the breakfast - I usually do not like them, but these were soft and delicious.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, peaceful and beautiful environment. Worth a visit, if you somehow land in Mikkeli, Finland. Breakfast was quite basic, I'd have hoped a bit more variety. Also, there was no info about the lactose content, which I'd find helpful.

This manor hotel is located in a beautiful, tranquil environment by the lake Saimaa. We stayed in the old manor house, which was very cosy. The room was rather small but nicely decorated in a classic style. There was no air conditioning, but the fan was quiet and efficient, and we had a very good sleep. The breakfast included a good variety cold and warm items to choose from. On a sunny summer morning it was wonderful to have your breakfast on the terrace, with a nice view of the garden. They also had a sauna by the lake to hire, with a nice terrace and a grill. A great place for a summer stay, and very reasonably priced.

We stayed here for one night in the new building (room 205). We had a great view of the forest from our room. The windows could be opened so we didn't need to use the air conditioner the fresh air kept the room cool. The bed was firm but comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We went on a beautiful walking trail around the lake which took about one hour there and back. If you are arriving after 6 pm in summer then dinner is over and you have to go into town to eat. The dinner buffet is open from 2pm to 6pm. They have so many facilities row boats, swimming in the lake, mini golf, tennis courts, indoor pool, beach volleyball and outdoor gym equipment which we made use of. Our only regret was we weren't there long enough to take advantage of all the activities on offer. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room in the old building with the sun streaming through the windows was lovely.

Stayed here for the second time this year. First time was in the winter and we liked it. Now, when coming again, it was summertime and it looked all so different; the trees and all the gardening, how nice. We stayed for one night at the new part, the Rustholli, which is modern and very clean. We had a room with a well equipped small kitchen. The airco was wonderfull as it was so hot outside. It is so peacefull, because it is situated far away from any kind of traffic. You can really relax and enjoy about the peacefull atmosphere here. The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull, although was more busy with working with the pc. In the lobby there was a small bar, where you can grab a coffee, ice cream or an apperative. Children are not forgotten, as there are games etc. available. The rooms are very modern and clean. Not much space, but then, it keeps you away from laying on the bed and watch TV. Lot of space for clothes and other gear. The beds are good, but maybe a little bit narrow for an adult. Bathroom is very well equipped. The rooms are very silent. You can sleep very well and if for some strange reason, you might hear something, there are even ear plugs in the drawer! The sauna downstairs is good as well is the spa -department. It had a nice relaxing atmosphere. The beach sauna was not available so no experience from that part. So instead of that we took a round of a 18 hole minigolf, which was fun. The breakfast was served at the old part of the manor. This is a nice renovated and decorated building, which has a restaurant and also guest rooms. The breakfast was good with plenty items to choose from. Thank you for the fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and salad! The service was also very friendly! It was nice to stay here again, but one night is not enough. Next time I will stay longer.
