Lietsu Boutique Aparthotel boasts friendly service and comfortable accommodation. Our excellent location in the centre of Joensuu, rooms decorated in traditional Karelian spirit with a modern twist and our delicious breakfast served in the cosy breakfast lounge guarantee that your stay will be a memorable experience. Each of our rooms has a unique design and is equipped to a high standard. You can choose to make your morning cup of coffee in your room, or to join us for a Karelian breakfast and enjoy it in our breakfast room. Our facilities and services make both options possible. Lietsu Boutique Aparthotel has 30 double rooms and one smaller, single room. Two of the rooms have wheelchair access. Some of the rooms can be combined to make a larger space for example for a family stay. All the rooms have their own kitchen and bathroom and are equipped with air conditioning and heating. Our hotel doors are secured by code locks. An extra bed for a family member? Of course! You want to bring a pet with you, or your team’s sports kits need drying? No problem at all! A really lovely and sympathetic hotel full of personal details that were well thought out to support the Karelian theme. It was wonderful to notice that, for example, at breakfast quality and not quantity came first. The room was really nice. Especially the bed and blankets were good. And it was good that you can get the room completely dark if you want. The rocking chair in the room was lovely! I would have spent more time in the room if I have had more time. The landscape painting on the wall of the room was wonderful. A big plus for the locking system and the fact that there was no traditional key card. The staff was nice in all situations and made us feel really welcome. The accommodation would have included one free sauna session, which unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of this time, but it's great that such an opportunity exists. The room had everything you needed, from bread knives to a washing machine. This hotel is particularly good choice for families with children. Toys, games and books could also be borrowed from the lobby for the room. Great location right next to the city center. We will definitely come again!…

Large individual rooms, air condition, kitchen to cook your own food, washing machine in rooms, excellent service, bicycles to loan for free, free sauna etc. We booked a two-day hiking package with meals to nearby national parks. Unforgettable. Three nights in beautiful Joensuu and Finnish hot summer = we'll be back.

Excellent place to stay, so cosy and clean, very nice interior design. In the heart of the city but still quiet. Breakfast is perfect, local and "home made". Extra bonus is the private sauna time. Staff is very friendly.

Cozy little boutique hotel close to the city centre. Quiet rooms, excellent service and superb Karelian breakfast with ingredients from local farms. The hand made Karelian pies were delicious. The lady at the reception was super helpful and polite. Hotel also had the possibility to charge the electric car.

Very elegant and homelike boutique hotel at the centre of the city. The details have been well planned and thought - there are lot of Carelian craftworks around giving the historical spirit. The rooms contain microwave, dishwasher and you may even do the laundry. All the rooms have different theme and interior. I liked the breakfast buffet, which includes variety of local dishes and one of the best porridges I’ve tasted in Finland. The view from the sauna is particularly nice!

Most welcoming and friendly staff, clean homey, comfortable and well equipped apartments with everything you need for nice stay. Fantastic Sauna department with beautiful views to river (one hour included in room price!). Instead of having accommodation in large chains hotels we chose this one for experience something different. It was just good choice, price was better, service was excellent, this small Aparthotel is digitalized bravely, food (breakfast) is good, it's worth to order at the same time when you are doing room reservation, rooms are just perfect - one don't need any more. And when you book hotel straight from the hotel´s website you get free parking, bicycles are for free to see the city.... many other good things. Location of hotel is the best.

Hotel is located next to the river, one block from Central Square. Every room is unique and the room has cooking facilities and washing mashine, so suitable also for longer stay. Groceries available accross can the street. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and most delicious breakfast I've had for years. Absolute recommendations for Lietsu Hotel!
