This is an ideal place for bikers, bring our own food and grill it. Breakfast included. This place has sauna and "jacuzzi for 25€". Friendly host. Wifi and tv's in rooms and in upstairs "lounge". There are shops nearby this place if coming from Joensuu.

Fist I will write some short facts, after our story: 1). Childrens totally unfriendly environment: - steep stairs without baby gate - no chair for small kids - no plastic dishes - no additional small beds for kids - potty just on one floor ( and as another family with kids lives on the first floor and we lived on the second it was difficult to use potty) 2) poor breakfast - no milk - sandwiches were defenetely not fresh, vegetables in them tastes very strangechildren didn’n like them and we also didn’t eat everything - fruit salad from marinade fruits was impossible to eat 3) door lockers in shower works badly 4) owner was friendly but his assistant deffenetely not Our story: When we realized that there will be a long trip with three small kids (the oldest is 4,5 years) we decided to take a small hotel with breakfast and look through the offered in booking.com found this place. There was 5stars and huge amount of good review so we make a decision. We planned to come at 9-9.30 pm and leave 7.30 am next day. So, we need just bed and breakfast. We came as planned 9.35 got the room, owner saw our kids (the room was just with 3beds) but he said nothing about it and didn’t offer additional services for kids or bed). We took our own travel baby bed with us for the second child and the smallest slept together with me. In the morning we learned that we need to pay more because we have kids (we paid for 3 grown ups) but no additional services were provided in the evening and we told the owner that we need breakfast for three person as smallest eat just baby food. But they insist and we paid additional 10 euro. We were limited by the schedule and because of this after short and unpleasant breakfast (see above) we left but the owner call us and say that we need to pay 50 euro for damage. It happens that children can pee at night and that is why we still use diapers even for the older one especially in the hotels, but in the room was so hot and children drink and unfortunately in the morning diapers was full and the bed was wet, owner said that we need to pay 50 euro extra for damage (the new cover for mattress in ikea cost less if I am right ~25euro). I can say that it was the worst stay with the family. I don’t like to write bad reviews but this place deserves this.…

Very personal attitude to service: the ownet himself recepts travellers even at off hours and makes breakfast freshly himself just for you. Own car is necessary because of location away from public transportatiom
