We were camping here for three nights and immediately fell in love with the place. For tents, they have spacious sites with benches and table and there were also fireplace, kitchen, showers and toilets. You could go to communal sauna or rent it privately just for you. There is a restaurant also, didn't eat there so can´t comment. Service was very friendly and helpful at all times. Would absolutely go back, there are such a beautiful walking trails nearby and beautiful nature all around you. One important point is that they do recycle here, there are dedicated bins for all of your different types of rubbish.

We had one night in tent on camping site and the other night next to hiking trails further in national park. Staff was very friendly. They gave us hints for both kayaking and hiking trails. Sauna was really good after hiking and all facilities were very clean. After night in camping site we had a breakfast on main building. I think it was well worth 9€ price.

Very nice guesthouse at the Petkeljarvi National Park. Clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly and helpful personnel. Good Sauna within ten meters from the lake. Excellent walking routes in the National Park from short round trips to long hiking routes. Special landscapes sculpted by the Ice Age some 11000 years ago. Very peaceful place long away from tourist crouds. Tosi hyvä retkeilymajatasoinen majoitus hyvin pidetyssä paikassa.

Lovely visit in northen karelia combining nature adventures and accomodation including finish sauna, swiming, dining and a good night sleep. 5 points and would give even more if I could. We were here as a family but this place gives a incredible peace to travelers of all kinds. ❤
