the room was very comfortable with a good on-suite shower, all very clean. Breakfast offered a good selection and service generally friendly and helpful, the ship was in easy reach of the city centre.

Great quirky hotel about 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Check-in was quick and very friendly. Clean room, not massive but comfortable and clean. nice shower. Breakfast was good but no staff in attendance. I had to go downstairs from the restaurant and explain that there was nobody there. Also I called back in for a drink after I...

The ship was perfect, clean and cozy. The staff very friendly and the breakfast super! The ship is docket 10 minutes by foot from the city center. The experience to sleep in a real ship, built in 1907 was both exciting and comfortable! I'll come back for sure.

I live a lot of my life in hotels and the vast majority of hotel designers must use the same reference book as one hotel room is very much like another. It makes a really refreshing change to find somewhere different. I stayed there for 4 nights and loved the novelty of it. From the sloping floors to the timber...

Clean, causy & window where you can see the sea. Nice breakfast, located in the center, close to the Nordstan mall & the central station. I would happily stay there again. The staff are nice & it feels nice sleeping in a ship 😊

Such a neat hotel. Very quaint staterooms with all the old maritime features. The beds were small but very comfortable. Internet connection was good. Excellent nordic smorgasbord breakfast. For something different and interesting, I recommend it.

Within walking distance from the central railway station, this magnificent ship, now a hotel, firmly anchored. The location is perfect for "a night at the opera." The room was spacious, there were two armchairs, television and of course sea view. It was peaceful and quiet at night, probably because the restaurant is closed during the winter season. The breakfast buffet...

I have stayed at Barken Viking a few times and I love it. I normally stay at Post, Hilton, Radisson etc. and really enjoy the atmosphere of the great sailing ship with it's unique cabins. I think it is great. You really feel naval :-) The owner is also great and you get a very "personal" treatment when you stay...
