Quick overnight stay, close to railway station but a very comfortable well insulated room, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and a good selection. On the morning of departure the hotel let us stay in the dining are until lunchtime to finish off our prep for our afternoon meeting. Typical Swedish hospitality, recommended.

I visited with my husband & parents. The family room was quite large & nicely done up. The lobby is really nice to lounge around. There is fika (tea, coffee, cakes & biscuits) all day! The breakfast was included in the room rate & the spread was impressive. Although they couldn't be flexible with the checkin & checkout times, they...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in what I think was a standard/budget room together with my boyfriend. The room itself was very very small, it basically only fitted the bed but there was no room for a chair or any desk etc. Luckily we were travelling with back-packs but for someone travelling with a larger suitcase I...

Dear Madelene A, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback at Tripadvisor. As you say our Economy rooms are smaller in size than our other rooms and that is what gave them the category name. We are happy to here that you were satisfied with the cleaning of the room and that you enjoyed our...

Finding this hotel is a little tricky, but worth the effort. There are 3 Scandic hotels near the train station. No. 25 is located on a quiet street away from the central station's busy intersections. The desk personnel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Just across a small canal is a lovely garden which follows the main canal - great for...

Nice room with a good joint-room solution for kids. Modern bathroom (nothing common in this area :-)) and tasteful lobby/restaurant area. Parking is cumbersome and relatively pricy. As usual. Breakfast was good but I don't like when they start taking away the breakfast items 15 min before the official end... plus staff was relatively unfriendly - maybe they were worn...

Usually when going on city breaks what can let things down is a noisy hotel. This hotel is very quiet and the hotel rooms and bathrooms are large. The hotel is central but tucked away, which feels nice. The breakfast is buffet style and full of everything you'd expect from boiled eggs and bacon... through to herrings. The staff are...

Our family of four stayed for one night before catching the ferry the next day. We booked a family room and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. Having said this, we obviously got lucky as friends of ours also booked a family room and got one half the size (we had no.115). Our 3 year old twins found...

This hotel is quite centrally located, but that is also one of it's problems. The surroundings are not the best, and the "clients" hanging around the hotel is not the ones I would trust the most. We witnessed plenty of upheated discussions, breach of traffic rules (driving in streets they shouldn't) and a general unpleasant mood. The interior of the...

Stayed at the Scandic No. 25 in Gothenburg for 1 night. Although well located near the central railway station, it is in a fairly industrial area.
