Great hotel, right in the center of town and easy access to trams or exploring on foot. The breakfasts are taken in the cafe below the hotel and it serves a great continental breakfast Rooms are very comfortable and all the bathrooms have Elemis products to use

Decoration is simple with enough details to make it feel special. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. And very clean. The caffee on the first floor serves a good breakfast buffet that is included in the price. Food was of very good quality. And it gives you a 25% discount any time of day. There are lots of... More

The Hotel is nice and in the citycenter. The rooms are neat and tidy, the staff was very helpful: Emina was great, even though she was been working there for a few days she was extremely helpful. Unfortunately the reception is not working 24 hrs, so advise you arrival and departure time (a private parking is available, but not 24/7).... More

We stayed here during a weekend in a standard doubleroom. The hotel has a nice location close to the pedestrian areas in the center of Gothenburg. Its not close but fully possible to walk to the central train station. There are many nice restaurants and cafes in the area. The room was small (I wonder how small the small budget... More

Excellent location in the middle of Gothenburg. Well maintained and clean, friendly reception and good breakfast. The bedroom was fairly small, but overlooked the courtyard and we weren't disturbed by noise. A little too warm in the room so slept with the window open - might be a problem in middle of summer. A few off-street parking places - book... More

I have stayed at Vanilla off and on since they opened. Always a quiet and pleasant stay and the opportunity to have a nice breakfast or a bite to eat in their wonderful café. Love the location! The staff is great!

On the spur of the moment we decided to take a quick trip to Gothenberg. Luckily there was a vacancy at the Hotel Vanilla for their smallest double room. As the reviews were quite good we decided to take it although it did seem a bit expensive. The hotel is on a long side street which is in walking distance... More

In line with almost all other contributors we found that fine standards are maintained and we enjoyed our single night before taking the boat on the 6 day Gota Canal Cruise..just a short 5 minute walk away to the Packhusen quay. It is not often that you find a värdshus in the centre of a large city. The courtyard restaurant... More

As most people comment, the hotel is central, clean and with very friendly staff. Our room was of reasonable size with bid bathroom. The breakfast is very good and the cafe where it is served is a good option for dinner or lunch, with 25% discount for guests. Our room was 2nd floor and I did not see an elevator,... More
