The Hotel Hansson is not a four-star hotel; still, the hotel staff is friendly and nice. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are old but clean. The location of the hotel is close to all public transportation. The tourist attractions are almost 25 minutes away on foot but public busses run quite frequently and easy to use. There is...

Large and comfortable room on 4th floor. Decor in need of a freshen up ,as has been done on the 5th floor apparently with others to follow. Location just out of city centre but close to transport links and quiet. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet varied and plentiful. Advance booking rate is good value compared to many in...

Stayed here on a conference and it was perfect - located close to the university and shops and restaurants - great staff - a great little restaurant and a cosy room. It was a perfect launch pad to discover Stockholm.

This is my first time staying here.it was a 15 walk from St Eriksplan and I found the hotel easily. I arrived early evening just after 8:00pm and was warmly welcomed by the two ladies at Reception. I had made a last minute booking and already knew that I would be in one of the non refurbished rooms as the...

Booked this as it was described as a 4 star hotel, but i feel i was mislead by the photographs. A very tiny room, Harry Potter had a bigger cupboard!, so watch out if you are a lone traveller. The room had curtains, but these were so see through so as soon i became light in the morning, it was...

Hi James, Thanks for your review and that you did address our staff. We have bigger single rooms better suited for longer stays. Your window has a rolling curtain, which we could have pointed out to you if you had told us. We will work to make it more obvious. There was a slight delay on the hot water during...

Should be cleaner for 4 stars. We had basic room. Breakfast was excellent, personal was very nice. Location is good, at 2 subway station of City Terminal. I will return if I had a chance, it was nice.

Thank you for staying. I am happy you had a nice time in Stockholm and you are welcome back any time. Breakfast insider: try our hand crafty bread with a dash of dijon mustard, smoked ham and a slice of tomato with a warm cup of coffee. #ilovebreakfast

close to two metro stations, supermarkets and the hard rock cafe. The single bedrooms are tiny but the price is the most affordable. Breakfast always included, and quite regular american style.. My friends stayed in a quadruple and it was very nice and comfortable. High ceilings... All and all, if you want a decent price and a good area, this...

Chose this Hotel for a short weekend getaway, the boutique style seemed nice enough to excuse for a little walk towards the old town. Upon arriving two hours ahead of check in time, we were greeted in a way that could have been friendlier. Stored our luggage and went on our way. Returning in the evening to check into our...

Hi Phoonzang, Thanks for staying and for leaving a reveiw. Week end breakfasts do get crowded around 09:00 and we always advise our guests to come early for a less crowded breakfast. Thank you for using our free luggage storage and for the feedback on the lamps.

worst room I've ever stayed even for a 3 star hotel that looks cheap. First room was a box of matches and the bathrooms look primitive. the pictures from their presentation looks awesome but the reality from the hotel it's totally different. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Fire alarm 5 am in the morning....The bathroom misses hair dryer and no power socket for electric razors. Asking the staff for irons and board doesn't work. Central heating without control so the blanket is your friend. Wi-fi is free only in the lobby which accommodates 10-20 people, while you pay for the most terrible internet in the room. Forget...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
