Was in horror upon given a room facing the stairs. People were coming in and out slamming doors thumping on stairs, voice from intercom. Restaurant upstairs lots of slamming. Spoke to boss and he was so nice to change rooms for us and kept apologising due to peak period with rooms being full. Given another bigger room not perfect but...

I stayed at this boat hotel for 1 night in November when they have really cheap prices(50 Euro ish per night), the cheapest that weekend actually that I could find online and it also included breakfast. It is really easy to find from Maraiatorget tube station, just take to the right and walk all the way down to the water...

Staying in a boat with awesome views of the City Hall and the Gamla Stan (Old city center) of Stockholm is not something that everybody can say. The boat is old but with and amazing histrory behind him, making you feel somehow being a passenger of one of his trips. Our room was small but enough, the same with the...

Lovely view from the porthole, simple room and clean. It's a boat, so there are compromises. If you are looking for luxury don't stay here but if you like simple and functional then it is fine, especially for the price. There was a lot of noise from the plumbing as well as noise from other occupants but most people were...

This hotel is an amazing. Romantic view on the Gamla Stan and stunning location in the city centre makes from this boat really good place for accommodation. However, bed in the economy room is really small for two people, but too big for one person. Breakfast was brilliant. I can highly recommended.

Ok the room was small, the bathroom was tiny, but it is a boat! Location is good, not excellent, but if you use the local bike rental service, it does not take so long to get downtont etc. and there is a neighboring bike park/pick up spot. The view over the water of the Townhall was great (probably not so...

Also garden with a bar on the top of the deck is...

If you are claustrophobic like me, this hotel might freak you out. But do it anyway. We had a budget cabin just at dock level. We had our own tiny bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower which was hilarious but functional. I'd never showered at sea before! Of course this ship is tied to the dock at all times. I...

Stochkolm views from the deck of a boat are hard to beat! Loginn is ideal for the on-the-go tourist. Great little but well appointed cabins, really great, helpful staff and inexpensive, tasty food from the restaurant. Only small blot is that Wifi does not work in the cabin but does work in the public areas. I had made a mistake...

This is a converted boat/ferry with tiny cabins. Sort of shelf at end of bed for suitcases, couple of hooks, and only one person can walk around at a time. Tiny en suite shower and toilet, don't put the spray towards the door or you can have a minor floor in cabin. We were only there for two nights so...

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariatorget
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
