Enjoyed our 4 days stay. Good value for money and ideal location, in waking distance to most things, we had booked 2 standard double rooms ours being on floor 4 was like small attic bedroom with small bathroom, did get a little hot and stuffy even with the windows open. The other room was floor 3 a lot nicer and more spacious. Breakfast was good did get busy at certain times but tables were cleared quickly and always plenty of food. Tea and coffee available from reception area as no facilities in room. Staff were fantastic.

Really nice hotel. Room was a little outdated but the bathroom was re furbished and new. Old hotel room feel. Tv was standard and double windows with a wall radiator. all worked perfectly. Ive said in other reviews if you plan to stay in the room all day you should spend more and have a top rated hotel. This is perfect for sleeping relaxing and spending time in the great city., not for spending all day here.
The hotels about a 10 min walk from T Central. It's 2 minutes from the closest metro stop. There's coffee shops on almost every corner nearby and a coop and Aldi within 5 minutes walk.
The breakfast was fantastic. Hot food and cold food with continental and Swedish meatballs. There's also coffee and tea served for free all day so you can take it to the room or use the cardboard cups and take out with you.
The staff were very very friendly, knowledgable and polite. I can't rate this Hotel highly enough. was a great stay no noise and really nice to be in heart of Stockholm and no stress. I left my luggage securely and safely on the day I checked out.
100% recommend and will be staying again soon.

The hotel is centrally located, a quarter of an hour's walking distance from the subway station and the airport bus. It is also very close to the subway station Rådmansgatan. The room was small and not particularly cozy. The floor was incredibly worn and looked ugly, the room faced a courtyard with other windows directly opposite so you could see straight in, which is why I had the curtains up all the time which made it dark and closed in. But as a solo traveler I didn't spend much time in the room. The bed was ok, but of my four nights at this hotel, I had incredible difficulty sleeping during the first three due to a TV on, whose loud noise penetrated the wall and kept me awake. Even though I had earplugs! It was very strange, the TV was on high volume all night long - and three nights in a row! I considered complaining but still didn't. But it is a responsive hotel and noise can be disturbing. The fourth night was thankfully quiet. The breakfast was mediocre. No fresh fruit, only canned fruit/thawed strawberries and then basics but nothing extra. The hotel itself is average, but due to the poor sleep quality I only give two points for the overall experience this time. Positives were the location, the comparatively low price and that there was tea and coffee in the lobby.

Rex Hotel provides a very solid service. Booking the room and checking in was a breeze. Right away you could help yourself with a cup of hot Swedish coffee. The room was neat and clean, with enough cabinets to store your clothes and belongings. A private bathroom comprising a shower, underfloor heating system and electric radiator. The TV was slightly outdated - with no "smart" functions. Everyday there was a breakfast available in the dining area. A good choice of the usual morning products (flakes, eggs, bread, vegetables,) which were regularly restocked. It could get quite busy around 08:30, though. In the afternoons and the evenings there were thermoses provided with both hot water and coffee. Sadly, sometimes they were empty. The hotel is located near underground station, but, at the same time, it doesn't take more than 20 minutes to get to T-Centralen or Sergels Torg on feet. Most days we walked around Stockholm all day with no need of taxi, etc. More than once we were saved by the branded umbrellas provided near the entrance doors - a hugely appreciated gesture in the rainy Stockholm.
All in all, staying in Rex Hotel proved to be a really nice experience with no unpleasant surprises. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The hotel has great connections and very attentive staff, the breakfast has a great selection and tastes good. The rooms are modern and clean. The air in the room was relatively dry though, which led to dry airways for me especially at night, but otherwise it was very quiet and you could sleep well. We would definitely come back if it takes us to Stockholm again!

Decent hotel with very kind and helpful staff, who do a lot!!! Good welcome with coffee and tea available at reception. Good buffet breakfast offering in the morning with savory and sweet options. The location is truly excellent, 2 minutes from the metro stop which takes you to 3 stops from the central station with all connections. The room was quite minimal, without a mini bar, a quiet area and therefore the view was not noisy. The only flaw was that they didn't make up our room in the morning....but it can happen.

What a beautiful discovery!!! The location of the hotel is one of its strong points. The metro station is very close and you can reach the center on foot in about 20 minutes. In the immediate vicinity there are several places to eat and even more than one supermarket. The staff is kind, helpful and cheerful. The breakfast is plentiful with a lot of choice, more savory than sweet. A real cuddle every morning. The common areas are well-kept and clean, as are the rooms (perhaps just a little small). Free hot water and coffee are served in the lobby.

It might seem like an exaggeration, but it's really the best hotel I've ever been to. Rex Hotel is a classic and a modern hotel at the same time. Which makes it very lovable, it is the professional staff, the clean rooms, and the breakfast served. The hotels big advantage also that it is close to the city center, and T station "Radmansgatan". This is the second time we booked here, and we had a great time again. We are very grateful that we were able to leave our luggages before check-in and after check-out. Since we were with three children, we booked several rooms. Thank you very much for letting us have rooms next to each other. An amazingly wide selection, delicious and beautifully prepared hot and cold buffet breakfast is available (iincluded in the room price). The staff was also very kind and helpful during breakfast. Thank you very much, we hope to spend a few nights here for the third time soon.

Take either the Arlanda Express or the Fly Bus to Stockholm's Central Station. The bus is much cheaper, but takes longer. From there you can either walk of take the Underground (T-Bana) to the Rådmansgatan stop, which is what I did. From there it's only a short walk to the hotel.
We were travelling thru Arlanda so don't know, unfortunately. The hotel were very helpful and if you e-mail them direct they would probably offer you a suggestion.
