Hornstull & Langholmen
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the
beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should
be on top of your list. The area was recently
redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and
edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall
complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to
the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods
in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll

Went there in October. I stayed in a triple room.
There is free WiFi, a tv, a private bathroom which was very clean. Bedsheets and towels can be rented when checking in. Bedsheets for 70 Sek. Breakfast was really good, many things to choose from. It costs 90 Sek. The staff was fr

A room in the actual museum, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful food and wine, so clean and such amazing location on the tiny island Longholmen in the middle of Stockholm. All of the old prison can be experienced through the very thought through use of the site. History

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy. We loved the prison history although the kids did find it a little creepy at night. The self service kitchen was great too. The breakfast was nice but a little expensive.

In a former prison on the island of Langholmen. Rooms are cells with ensuite. Had tellys, wifi etc. Beach nearby. Leafy surroundings. Good kitchen for self catering. Friendly staff. A bus ride from Stockholm Central but fairly frequent. Sleep quality poor, not hostels fault

The hostel is located in a former prison on the beautiful island Langholmen. During summer you can easily go for a swim just outside the hostel, which seems to be a popular spot also amongst locals.

I stayed in a 4-bed womens room (cell), which was pretty small in size but at l

I have a few questions: 1) so they charge extra for cleaning? From the U.K. we don’t really understand this! Also Can this not just be done by the person staying? 2) they charge for bed sheets?! Again this is unusual for us but seems normal in Norway / Sweden, is it duvet cover and pillow cases with a sheet or just sheets or what?! We’d like to bring our own to save costs is all..... Thanks in advance, Ian
Je voudrais savoir comment me rendre à l hotel à partir de la gare des bus par les transports en commun.

"The museum aisle on the ground floor can be a bit spooky at night."
"If you are three, the triple room with private bathroom will suit your needs. Limited space but manageable for three."
"Don't bother paying the cleaning fee. You only need to leave it tidy and take out your rubbish and linen."
