We chose this hotel due to the fact that the location on the map seemed ok but mainly as it is very reasonably priced for Stockholm. Upon arrival the hotel doesn't look very appealing but don't judge a book by its cover. The staff are...More

This is one thing I don’t like about reviewers on Tripadvisor. People can be sarcastic and unpleasant when they were writing reviews, including for this place. Having said that, I will not say that this is perfect place for Stockholm. This is still a no...More

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

Yes, Take the airport shuttle bus/train to the central station. It is walking distance form there. Beware of taxi though Stockholm is famous for taxi cheats. On the taxi window there would be sticker saying 550, 399 etc. If you have to take a taxi try finding one with lowest number probably 395 or 350 something like that.
