I loved staying in this hotel during my Stockholm visit. Not far from the main train station and Cityterminalen, but not as close as it might be noisy. Also, right next to the Drottninggatan street, which is very lively in the evening. Just follow this street and you'll find yourself right in the Old Town! The hotel provides Internet connection...

Stockholm can be a quite expensive city . Visiting for the first time we inquired with our travel agent and did own research online. Scandic is a quality chain in northern Europe - but not 'chain-type' properties. The Norra Bantorget turned out to be exactly what we were after..... nice comfortable hotel, very well located for walking and touring the...

The hotel was very centrally located about a 5-7 min walk from the main train/bus terminal. 2-3 minutes from the Casino Near lots of restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good. The only negative is that my room was on the other end of the hotel and I had to...

We stayed here for three nights, and found this hotel convenient: it's more or less a straight 10-minute walk to the old town. But our room was very small, and the wooden floors meant every high heel in nearby rooms made a racket. And breakfast is the most chaotic I've ever seen: I've seen better organised stampedes.

For some reason I was expecting Sweden to be very efficient and orderly, but was disappointed. Dont stay here if you want to eat breakfast, unless you dont mind a bun fight. The times of opening at breakfast time are far too short and there is just not enough room for guests to be accomodated. Breakfast is cheap however if...

The hotel is clean and has a great location as its within 15 minutes walk to main attractions such as The Royal Palace, The Skansen, and The Vasa Museum. The Room itself is comfortable but is missing shampoo and tissues for the room. I expected more from a 4 star. We also had to take 2 elevators and walk a...

Small rooms and lots of minor things missing. No face cloths, hand soap dispenser 4 to 5 feet from sink (!), no kleenex (need to use toilet paper for tissue), no sheer curtains so room is either all light or all dark. Location is fine but nothing exceptional.

My friend and I arrived at 22H45 to be greeted by a efficient but very unfriendly receptionist. We were pointed in the general direction of the lifts, not told where breakfast was or that the bar closed at 23H00. When we got to the room, after two lifts and a maze of corridors, it was clean and well laid out...

Nice cosy hotel. Comfortable rooms, quite small though but well equiped. Very good location: easy to find, close to the shopping street in the center, and on a relatively quiet street. Very good breakfast, nice selection of ham and cheese, nice scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages, jams, cereals, excellent bread and very good coffee. Definetely a good starting point...
