Stayed again at the Hilton Slussen this week. Check-in staff very helpful and efficient and the Concierge knowledgeable and informative. If you can choose a room, rooms 4091 to 4098 are great choices! I only wish they would put me there!!!!

A perfect hotel. It is minutes from the Slussen Tunelbana, or easily accessible by road. The hotel is amid many upscale shops and bars, and convenient to even more in Gamla Stan. It is just two stops from the Central Station.

I would like to thank you for choosing Hilton Stockholm Slussen for your recent stay and taking time to review us on TripAdvisor. It is a pleasure to read that you, overall, have spent a very nice time, despite us not fully meeting...More
Stayed here for a few days. Centrally located overlooking the lake. Good easy walk into the old town and close to bus stops for travel further afield. Have not eaten at the hotel. Bar is lovely with fabulous views over the river. Cannot comment on...More
Great hotel in wonderful location - close to station, ferry and Gamla Stan. Breakfast was really delicious with so much choice - even a waffle maker! Staff were excellent and so helpful. Drinks are pricey but that’s standard for Stockholm. We had a deluxe room...More
First time in Stockholm, and glad we chose this hotel. Staff so friendly and helpful; great breakfast choice and lovely room. We didn't have a 'room with a view' and it honestly didn't matter. Easy to get around by walking or underground from near the...More
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping
street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.

Cruise port was about a 20 minute taxi ride away. However we took the bus one way (We were in Sweden two days to start our cruise) and the bus was great and inexpensive.
Old Town is 5 minute walk away.
