Lovely, charming, great locale without being too fussy. Very comfortable. Highly recommend. "Inn like" overlooking water an by tram. Better for not little children. What I've written says it all even though I have not reached 200 characters.

We spent 4 days in this hotel. The location is ideal, right on Strandvagen, a lovely area full of bars and restaurants and with lovely views to the water. Close to public transport. The hotel is quirky but we liked it. It has lovely public areas to sit and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are very friendly. The only...

The hotel is situated at the old building and does not have a lift but it is only 2 floors. The pluses are central location, very helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean rooms and the hotel itself, comfortable beds(I stayed in 4 different rooms and everywhere was clean and comfortable). Only thing I missed English speaking news on tv...

Booked a room in a quiet position overlooking the courtyard & we were upgraded at no extra expense on our arrival. The hotel is in an excellent position for all transport links - buses, ferries, underground trains all a few minutes away. All the staff we met were extremely courteous and helpful. Excellent breakfast - a good choice and constantly...

I cannot recommend that hotel. Needs a huge freshening up. No elevator. The situation of the hotel is fantastic, too bad they don't take advantage of this. Breakfast: get your own spoon, cup, plate , knife.! I asked to change the room, wasn't possible. I couldn't open the window at night as my room was on a inner courtyard and...

Reception staff very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Breakfast excellent - provided gluten free bread for my husband very quickly and remembered every morning. Good location. The only complaint was room was very dark even during the day. Lovely sitting room available at front of hotel to watch boats coming and going. Added bonus was that coffee or tea (along with...

This was our first hotel and city on our trip to the Baltics. We booked a Superior Double which gave us an awesome view of the water and boats along with an outside patio. The room itself was a decent size for Europe. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to Old Town and the Vasa museum. We had my mother...

This privately own hotel Is conveniently located for people visiting Stockholm for tourism. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Breakfast is rather basis though good coffee. The hotel equipment is very old and sloppy. Everything worka correctly though. There is no restaurant in the hotel but you can purchase food and drinks from the reception staff.

This is a great location. It is a very easy walk to the Vasa museum, Skansen park, old town ,shopping. There are many great restaurants that are very close. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is older, but has that old world charm. I definitely recommend the Hotel Esplande.

We stayed at the Esplanade on our first visit to Stockholm a few years ago. It was good then and seems even better now. The breakfast room is a bit bigger and the breakfast buffet is good. Service very good and great advice from reception. The cahery trees outside our window flowered during our stay. A lovely heritage hotel in...
