Right in the middle of Gamla Stan. 100 yards from den Gylden Frede and only 200 yards from the Stampen blues bar. This is a no frills outfit, but it's clean and tidy, and in this location, it'd be hard to beat the price.
I stayed 5 nights in this hostel. The main positive points are the location and the cleanliness of the property.

Clean. Provides breakfast. Nice ambiance. Very conveniently located. A pretty fair deal for the price.
The only downside is if you stay in the shared room you have to count on the other people in the room being respectful - noise is a real issue....More
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Hello. I was there last month. We were in a family room and, as far as I'm aware, there were only shared bathrooms. Plenty of them though, so it wasn't an issue.
