We had the double room on the first floor and this couldn't have been better for us, in every way. We don't appreciate TV in a bedroom, and honestly preferred having a loo all to ourselves with bath and plenty of hot water plus a magnificent sea view just beyond the bedroom door. There is a shower and a wash...

Kildonan House is decorated with great taste and the location by the sea is beautiful. The house has a long history. Rooms were very cosy with freash flowers and with open fire in the living room. Really recommended. The island of Eigg is a gem with friendly people, great sea food and nice hiking routes.

A beautiful, quiet location. The house is very comfortable and enjoys great views across to the mainland. Good gentle walks, not well signposted but very picturesque lochs and peak to visit. Seals and whales seen from the ferry to Muck with the "Shearwater" acting like a wildlife spotting trip - a recommended half day trip.

Marie is the best hostess you could imagine. The food is beyond comparison and the portions are enormous! The accommodation is fantastic! The bedrooms are comfortable and atmospheric, the lounge area is very relaxing, with comfortable sofas, a roasting fire and an interesting selection of locally relevant books.

This is a great little guest house on a beautiful island. Marie, the owner, welcomed us with a lovely afternoon cake and tea and made us feel at home. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all spacious and perfectly clean. The shared living room is homely and comfortable and just right for relaxing in after long walks up and down the...
