This hotel is located right in the center so when coming by car it takes some time till you get there as many streets around are closed for cars. Inside the hotel looks very nice and stylish. In my opinion the rooms are quite large, at least our room was not small at all. The room itself is also nicely...

I always enjoy returning to Malmo and staying at the Renaissance Hotel. It has been given high reviews by other Tripadvisor reviewers and for good reason. This hotel sets a very high standard of comfort without excessively high rates. The rooms are rather spacious by European standards, and they are especially clean and modern. I definitely appreciate the hardwood floors...

Renaissance in Malmo is a nice property conveniently located to the train station and most of Malmo's main sites. The lobby area is small with not much room to stand. There is one check in and check out desk with, at most, two people working. The floor common areas (halls) were somewhat outdated, but the rooms were well appointed and...

Dear MCBMD, thanks for taking the time to write a review about our establishment. As you mentioned and discovered, we are in the very city centre of Malmö, restaurants, bars just around the corner, for your next visit please let us know and we'll allocate a room towards our yard or not facing Lilla Torg. Kind regards, Mr Jens Lyckman...

I work on Malmo every month and usually stay out by the sports stadium. I've never really liked Malmo but now realise I hadn't seen the nice parts :-) This hotel is very clean, the room was very spacious, especially by Swedish standards. The decor was modern dark browns, burgundys and wooden floors which is pretty typical these days but...

we booked this hotel with points from our platinum elite mariott rewards acoount-no room upgrade. at 5 mariott properties over 8 nights-not one upgrade. room was small but modern and newly appointed, but average in size. not as nice as the summerhill suites, greensboro where we earned most of our points. the view is bland-an apartment complex across the narrow...

Dear William P, thanks for your feed-back. We are indeed located in a narrow part of the town (however extremely cozy as well) called Gamla Väster, with amazing Lilla Torg (Small Square) just around the corner. Our 128 room property is a bit limited in size, therefore no Executive Lounge. We do hope that you'll return to us in the...

My wife and I had booked a "prestige room" for a romantic night in Malmo. We were certainly not disappointed! The room - No. 229 - was large, spacious and beautiful. It was neat and tidy, the bathroom was big and clean, and the bed was really comfortable to lie in. The room was a corner room and was right...

Hotel is nicely decorated and staffs are all nice. Breakfast is also good. Hotel is located very near to the Malmo Central train station which is a big plus of this hotel. Malmo Central station is only 20 min. by train from the Copenhagen airport so sightseeing both countries in one day is possible if you stay at this hotel....

The Renaissance Hotel in Malmo, Sweden was a great surprise. We stayed there because we could not get into the Marriott in Copenhagen. It is about a 30 minute trip by train from Malmo to Copenhagen. Malmo was a pleasant surprise as the town square features many wonderful restaurants at a significantly lower cost than Copenhagen. The Renaissance staff was...

Dear Janet R, wow, thanks for your nice feed-back, "when in Copenhagen stay in Malmö" could be our future slogan then! Hope to see you back in the near future. Kind regards, Mr Jens Lyckman General Manager Renaissance Malmö Hotel

We used this hotel as our home base as we toured Copenhagen. Stayed here on Marriott points as opposed to paying real money in Copenhagen. We rode the train back and forth. It was about 30 minutes each way. The cost was very reasonable. Taxis to Copenhagen were very expensive, mainly because of a toll they have to pay to cross...

Rated 4 for its location and hotel ambience. We stayed 3 nights from 23 May 2013. The hotel is very close to Malmo Central station and all the shopping, restaurants etc. However we were given Rm 424 with slant windows and this was something we did not quite like. How and why were we given 424? No bedroom slippers in...

Dear Lisa P, thanks for your comments, indeed the location of the hotel is in the middle of the city centre with famous Lilla Torg (Small Square) just around the corner. Next time we'll arrange a room on the other side facing Engelbrektsgatan or Isak Slaktaregatan. Will definitely look into the matters you've mentioned and hope to improve them for...
