We are a small caravan park just ½ mile outside the village of Alton in rural Staffordshire. We have 15 well spaced pitches (10 hard standing, 5 grass) all with electric hook-up, set in a 2 acre field surrounded by further fields and with a fantastic view of the Weaver Hills and the southern end of the Pennines. In addition to the adrenalin filled Alton Towers (2 miles) there is great walking, cycling and pub visiting in the Churnet Valley for those who are looking for more gentle activities.

Brilliant site, excellent pitches for vans/caravans, very friendly and very clean. Ideal for visiting local attractions or just a restful break. Alpacas , guinea pigs a bonus! Bonus was the weather for our visit, but quite honestly I will revisit very happily!

A lovely 3 night stay, helped by the gorgeous sunshine. The toilets, showers and wash up facilities spotlessly clean and good covid procedures in place. Never waited for a shower. Play park canny and. I’ve to see a few animals on site but best of all was the pitch space. Huge amount of room for kids (and adults) to play. Easy access to Alton towers and a short walk through the lovely country into Alton. We will definitely be back.

Just arrived home from a 3 night stay on this campsite. We had a lovely stay, quiet site in a great location. Main purpose for our stay was to go to Alton towers for the day which is around 10 mins in the car so couldn’t have been more perfect. Dimmings Dale forest is also just a 10 min drive which was lovely for a walk. Also large supermarkets around 15 min drive so overall ideal location. Site itself was clean, tidy and peaceful. Toilet block lovely and clean. The only negative to this site was the showers were cold! Otherwise a very pleasant stay. We would return.

We've just spent 4 nights here in our motor home. Gorgeous quiet and clean site with pristine showers and loos. The site is reasonably priced. Oscar the dog, the Alpacas and the chickens are a real joy to watch. Our pitch was hard standing with electric and drainage on it and drinking water taps are very nearby. The owner was very helpful and polite. The best tonic is falling asleep listening to owls hooting! We will be back for sure.
