Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The bed duvet cover and pillowcase was very dirty, we don't think they had changed this before we got the room. When notifying the recepcion they first didn't do anything, before the front desk staff mentioned that this case maybe should be lifted a little bit up in the system. No excuse or compensation where given.

This is a larger hotell with plenty of rooms. It gives the impression of "just another one" and has no unique qualities. Our room was ok but warm so we had the fan running all night. The bed was comfortable. We had a bathtub and no shower and the tub was slippery. Nothing to put on the floor to stand on with wet feet. They never took away our dirty glasses and mugs. Breakfast is served in a sports pub and not in a very pleasant environment. Loots of people to queue with.

* Free parking and free charging of EVs, but could get crowded with only two chargers. * Short walk to restaurants and shopping * Fairly modern, but very darkly renovated. My two year old said the dark hallways were scary * Retrofitting the hotel with two bubble baths and putting two large “hot tubs” outside on the roofs and combining it with two saunas does make a surprisingly pleasant experience for the adults and the oldest kid. Except for one they were too hort for my two year old * rooms are affordable with four beds, but nothing to secure from falls from the lowest bunk bed. * the playroom is vert nice, but no one seems to tidy it up, and the entrence is locating in a meeting room blocking access when the room is in use.

A pleasant hotel with a spa, the room was okay although very dark. The spa was newly renovated and quite good with a nice view toward Frösön. Very helpful staff. The onsite restaurant is unfortunately a sports bar so plan for a dinner elsewhere.

Positives: Nice pool and jazucci area on the roof, clean room and comfortable bed. Also a good breakfast. Also very central location (which is also a bit of a negative because ot brings noise). Negatives: Lord have mercy the heat... It was a rather cold June day and our room was like a sauna. Not much help in opening the windows (and also if you keep them open during the night, there was a lot of noise from the street). I cannot understand what they do here: do they heat the rooms? How on earth could it be that hot when outside was like max at 18-20 degrees and at night somewhere around 10! What I also noticed that the pool on the roof and also the jazuccis were extremely hot, even too hot for comfort. Someone in the hotel management apparently likes things hot! Room was also very dark and had a bit too many furnitures, would have been nice to have some light and walking room too. Men on the reception were polite but the woman receptionist should educate herself on customer service. Always make sure you ask your customers how their stay was and also thank them for staying. Otherwise you are just giving off an impression that the customer is merely a nuisance. To summarize: would be a good hotel, even excellent, but needs to up their game in customer service and to adjust temperatures or set in airconditioning. Sadly I could not book again until they have found a way to set the temperatures a bit more low.

I'm not sure I had to rate this hotel with an average of a very good. The hotel potentially has an exclusive appearance and the rooms also radiate this. But the public areas are very dark and cheap. Parking is possible behind the hotel and along the public road in front of the hotel. The beds were comfy and breakfast complete. When checking out, the bill turned out to be incorrect, the reception has neatly resolved this.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot. Room was on top of a “Nightclub” and I had paid for 2 rooms for my family. Even the radiator was vibrating. This really shouldn’t be aloud and the local Kommun should take a deeper look into the sound pollution that this is causing to the hotel customers and staff. Not only this but the staff forgot the towels to the room and the bathroom is grimy. Honestly I would definitely suggest you should try anywhere else but here!! Just spoke to receptionist and all she could do was offer me earbuds, see picture!! Unbelievable!!!!!

The hotell is about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the hospital. Clean hotel. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Fairly large and clean room that has all one need for a short stay. A negative thing about the was that it was cold in spite of that it was October with no too much low temperatures and the heating element was set to highest grade.

Nice hotel in convenient position, good breakfast (at the adjacent o'leary) and room were all right, even though cleanliness could have been better in the bathroom, nothing serious anyway. Helpful staff (we had issues with our battery and the staff helped us to find a pair of cables to jump-start our motorbikr) . A good choice if you want to visit Östersund.

The room was dirty, and the bathroom. There is no safe in the room. My husband and I was there for a weekend. From my room there was taken some jewellery, and the hotel take no responsibility. That’s really bad! So I will never come back again to this hotel.
