We booked a stay for two days in Marienlyst “spa”hotel in a superior room. Upon our arrival the only parking space was far away from the hotel and. the elevator was booked by cleaning staff and they did not consider to let the guest use them first. The hallway was cluttered with used linens and food trays. After dinner the first evening we fancied a swim... only to learn that our booking did not allow entrance to the spa. So check your booking as this spa hotel does not automatically include the actual spa experience. Considering this fact the stay is overpriced and not worth it! The food is average and the service so, so.

Dear Jakobmikkelsen, Thank you for taking your time to share your feedback. We have well noted and shared your points for future reference. With regards to the spa entrance all packages on our website state whether access to our spa is included or not and on the stays where spa access is not included, it says whether it is possible to buy as an extra or not. It is with the biggest regret that we did not meet your expectations and we hope to get an opportunity to welcome you back in the future where we will do our very best to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable. Yours sincerely, Susanne Andersen

We just stayed there one night. There were cues for virtually everything, and too many people in the common areas and breakfast buffet. I do not feel corona-safe and regret our stay :( Its a nice place - but it has really made me think about visiting again while corona is on.

A hotel that offers a spa in its advertising, without being a hotel with a spa is very offensive. As a hotel guest we have to pay 500 and more Danish kroner per day (more than 50 €) to have access to the pool, which is not a spa, but a regular pool. We were not informed in any way what the "spa" offer at this hotel was. It was impossible to book any "spa" service at the reception because everything was booked a week in advance. As if they don’t have enough capacity for services. We also sent a request for a massage reservation on the hotel's website, to which we never received a response. All in all: a nice hotel, nice rooms but not worth as much money as they ask for. Especially if when as a hotel guest you have to pay for basic services. Shame.

Dear Mitjaga, We appreciate your feedback on your previous stay with us. In addition to our indoor pool and two outdoor infinity pools our 1600 square meters spa has more than 20 different facilities and experiences such as hottubs, salt therapy, four different saunas and much more. Due to restrictions during the COVID-19 outbreak we welcome fewer guests in our spa than usual. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts and we will continue doing our best to meet our guests' expectations. Kind regards, Susanne Andersen

Marienlyst hotel is an excellent meeting and conference hotel. Everything from the initial planning, flexibility and professional execution during the meeting is outstanding. We had a big Nordic conference with a comprehensive evaluation afterwards. Everything got top evaluations regardless of it was the rooms, the meeting facilities, food or the leisure activities/facilities. This is a place I would like to come back to.
