Check in was swift and easy.
Room was perfectly adequate for two people staying for a long weekend.
Clean, comfortable and cosy. Some may complain about the room size but we had no issues; it was just somewhere to sleep after a day of sightseeing....More
What a very pleasant surprise to find this charming boutique style hotel. It included every amenity of a large American chain hotel, but much more personal. Front desk served as a concierge as well and personnel never seemed rushed to answer questions. Immaculate room, very...More
This is a good hotel, very convenient for the train station. It seems to be a remodelled older building.
Excellent staff, no problems with checkin/out, and waiting staff were similar.
My single room was clean and comfortable.

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

Thank you for your message.
Personally I think that one of the best things you can do is to go outside of the city one of the days to explore some of the beautiful castles and sights there are to see just a short distance from Central Copenhagen. My personal favourite castles are Frederiksborg Castle and Kronborg Castle.
Therefore in my opinion a combined tour to Kronborg and Frederiksborg Castle as well as Roskilde Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum would be a perfect option! This is an 8 1/2 h tour and they offer to pick you up at your hotel. You will go with a tour guide who will explain lots about Danish history during the tour and you are a maximum of 16 persons making it both intimate and fun at the same time. Please have a look at their website for more information and/or booking. Search for Hamlet Tours and/or Grand Day Trip.
This tour begins at 8:30 in the morning and you would be back at the hotel at 5 pm.
An idea for some sightseeing on your first day here would potentially be with the same company as the above mentioned, but they also do a city tour which is slightly shorter and takes place in Central Copenhagen. Here you will see all the main sights such as the little mermaid, the royal residence, the opera house, the parliament etc. This tour is from 9:30 am to 3:30 am and is in my opinion one of the best ways to get an overlook of the city in order for you to determine how to spend the rest of your time here in the best way possible. They also offer to pick you up at the hotel.
In terms of transportation, there are a few options when getting from the airport to the hotel:
- Train: As the hotel is located just a two minute walk from the Central Station the cheapest way (which is also very simple) would be to go here by train. Regional trains take you straight from the airport to the Central Station and will cost DKK 36 per person. The train ride takes approximately fifteen minutes.
- Taxi: There are plenty of taxis to catch at the airport. All the taxis turn on the meter and a drive to the hotel will normally cost around 275 DKK depending on the driver's route and traffic (the price can and will vary). On a day with light traffic it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to get here whereas with heavier traffic it can take somewhere between 30-45 minutes.
- Bus: There is also a bus going from the airport to the Central Station. You have to catch bus 5A towards Husum Torv (the A-busses usually leave every 5-8 minutes) and get off at the Central Station. This costs 36 DKK per person.
When going to the cruise ship it depends on which port you are going to. Bus 26 will take you directly from the hotel to the DFDS port as well as Langelinje, whereas you will have to change bus if going to Ocean Kaj or India Kaj.
We have fixed price on taxi's from the hotel to the cruise ships at the cost of DKK 250. These can be bought when at the hotel.
I hope this was of help to you and wish you a lovely day.
