we arrived from Malmo early evening, speedy check-in then a trot a couple of doors down from the hotel section to the Apartments. Lift up to the penthouses with a great view over the tops of Copenhagen. Not the most stylish apartment but it's well equipped, very clean and the staff were quick to respond to any queries and requests....

Arriving around noon we were told our prepaid room wouldn't be available until 2 pm. Luggage could be stored for free in a basement room down a difficult series of steps. A hotel which claims 4 stars should have a bellman, or at least offer assistance with luggage. There is just a small elevator holding 4 average people without their...

Our stay of 2 nights was OK but could have been improved. We had notified the hotel that we would be arriving early and were there at 1000, but were told that no room was available until at least 1400. They did acknowledge that we had notified them by email of our early arrival and did offer to store our...

3 day stay in May 2014. Penthouse apt. #664, 2 people. We're well seasoned travelers and pretty fussy so we were kind of nervous about this place based on the mixed reviews. Arrived from Stockholm and got to the Ascot right around check-in time. Speedy check in, nice guy at the front desk. You actually check in at the hotel...

Nice place in nice condition, friendly service by the staff. Its nice and central placed in the center of Copenhagen, 5 min walk from Tivoli and the main shopping street. Parking in the courtyard right by the hotel. No noice from the street in the apartment. They have about 50 apartments together with the hotel, and you can use all...

If you have never been to Copenhagen before and are looking for a centrally located apartment, look no further than the Ascot Apartments. The apartment we stayed in was not luxurious, but had everything we needed and more - a small but useful kitchen area, bathroom with bath and separate toilet, big bedroom, very big separate living area, a store...

We stayed at Ascot apartments for 3 days (with 2 kids). For us the location and apartment was just perfect. I cannot imagine getting so much space for the same price in another hotel, and being so close to the central station, Tivoli, and city centre. It is not a budget solution, I realise, but considering that Copenhagen is expensive...

We stayed at the Ascot apartments for 3 nights in February. The location is very good for the station and the city centre. We did not have any problems with noise even though we were on the first floor and stayed on a Friday night. The lounge was very large and comfortable but the bedroom was very small. The internet...

I stayed at the Ascot apartments with two girlfriends on a weekend trip to Copenhagen. The apartment was decent with all the necessities. A big minus is that you get one hour of free internet per 24 hours, which seems a bit petty. Breakfast is also not included. At the same time, for three people it was very reasonable and...

ok, its not cheap, this is skandinavia, after all, but the penthouse we stayed in was just magic. it had decks on both sides, one of which was private, really comfortable beds, with the best pillows in the world, a great bathroom, and it was toasty warm, which considering it is January was essential. its in a great location, with...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
