I stayed 4 nights here. Staff is all nice and friendly. The interior of this hotel is arranged with 50’s Danish design stuff. So if you like Finn Juhl, you would be happy.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was on the inside away from the street so no problems with noise at night. Rooms are not large. Our room had a tub/shower and my wife slipped trying to get into the tub because there are no...More
A little pricey, but so is much of Copenhagen. The room was small but nice, and interesting, with adequate en suite bathroom. Main problem was the street noise. It was still a bit warm the first week in September and needed to have windows open,...More

Probably the only spot on Earth where you can sit in, rest in, sleep in and admire so many pieces of Danish mid-century vintage furniture. Hotel Alexandra is a small, authentic, boutique hotel in Copenhagen - just ...Morearound the corner of the City Hall Square, the Latin Quarter, the main shopping area and Tivoli Garden. Hotel Alexandra has over the past years collected a large collection of the world famous Danish mid-century vintage furniture and decorated the rooms with them. The rooms also have textiles, wallpapers and other gems that take you back in time to experience living like the design loving Danes did it in the 50’s and 60’s. This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding
neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Thank you for your question.
In general there is a lot of traffic and waiting time for taxis between 08:00 and 09:00 AM, unfortunately. If you do take a taxi to the airport, the transport time is approximately 25 minutes from the Hotel Alexandra.
Trains to the airport run very frequently from the central train station, which is about an 8 minute walk from the Hotel Alexandra.
The train takes about 12 minutes to reach the airport from the central train station and as such, it is an excellent way to reach the airport.
We hope that this answer is of use to you and other travelers.
