Stayed for 2 nights. Staff were really friendly & helpful. Hotel has a really unique design & we found it to be clean & quiet & in a good location. Breakfast was average. We did have a problem with the toilet not flushing in our room that had to be fixed twice which was a little frustrating. Overall would recommend.

I found Hotel Alexandra randomly through hotels.com, and I couldn't have been happier with the discovery! It's in a great (aka central) part of town and was close enough for us to walk to everything, which was great. It's also really charming and retro quirky. The rooms were very spacious and ours even had a small sitting area with a...

Everything you could want in a hotel. Great design, perfect location, clean clean clean, bike rental, eco-friendly. I loved this place!!! I would recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen! Close to the meatpacking and hipster neighborhoods and great Danish design aesthetic throughout the whole place!

We spend a great weekend in Copenhagen and choose the boutique hotel Alexandra. It is located in the centre of Copenhagen with plenty of interesting locations just around the corner. Evening events like Tivoli, cinema, restaurants and others are located directly outside of the hotel. Private parking for a limited number of cars in the courtyard of the hotel. Nice...

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location which was perfect for our weekend trip. 5 minutes to central station and plenty of great restaurants/cafes around that we visited. Tivoli gardens is also just down the road but unfortunately closed this time of year, so we shall be returning! Also have to say the staff were excellent, very...

The look and feel of the hotel is stylish but comfortable. The common areas are inviting; I spent a few hours in a comfy chair reading. There's an adjoining cafe. The service is outstanding (directions, dining recommendations, etc). The only reason I rated the hotel as Very Good versus Excellent is that it doesn't have a bar or gym. I...

Stylish hotel in excellent location in Copenhagen which specialises in design rooms. We stayed in a 60's styled room which was super. Lovely colours and furniture put together into a really nice place to be. There are rooms spanning several decades and the hotel provide info regarding their choices and decisions about their designs. Rooms perfectly clean and beds very...

I booked this hotel for my husband's Birthday weekend away. We both love Danish design and furniture and spend a lot of time googling Hans Wegner on E bay looking for chairs for our house! So this hotel was perfect for us, we were lucky enough to stay in the Hans Wegner room which was lovely and spacious, the bed...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Probably the only spot on Earth where you can sit in, rest in, sleep in and admire so many pieces of Danish mid-century vintage furniture. Hotel Alexandra is a small, authentic, boutique hotel in Copenhagen - just around the corner of the City Hall Square, the Latin Quarter, the main shopping area and Tivoli Garden. Hotel Alexandra has over the past years collected a large collection of the world famous Danish mid-century vintage furniture and decorated the rooms with them. The rooms also have textiles, wallpapers and other gems that take you back in time to experience living like the design loving Danes did it in the 50’s and 60’s. As soon as you step into the Hotel Alexandra, you step into a time bubble – you can relax in the lobby, where during evening hours you can put on your favourite vinyl record from our selection, enjoy a free glass of wine and take a moment to take a closer look at one of our many designer books from our lobby library, all the while being surrounded by the finest Danish designer furniture. ... more   less
