I visited this hotel/hostel with my friends last october. It was okay. We had private room which was awesome but public bathrooms were not clean enough in my opinion. There is wifi but it costs quite much :/ the front desk staff was really friendly :)

We stayed three nights in this hotel, selected because it had the best ratio quality/price between available and because it was not far from center. Room had twin bed with shared bathroom. Size acceptable, cleaning not the strongest point (shower and, sometimes, wash basin not cleaned) and noises from other rooms and from the road (floor was the second). Reception's... More

We got the private room with shared bathroom. The room itself is nice enough. There is one wash basin with a mirror. The bed is comfortable. The shared bathroom feels a little bit neglected. It wasn't very clean. The wall is very thin and we can hear people walking in the hallway since three door is also thin. We can... More

Went to Copenhagen to celebrate a 21st on Halloween weekend. Got to Hotel Copenhagen at 11.30pm after our flight had been delayed, and the reception wasn't open. one quick phone call and we got in. Went upstairs to find a basic room, fit four people but smaller than your average bedroom. The decor of the room was smart though and... More

Stayed her for a long weekend over the Halloween period and was pleasantly surprised on how good this place if, especially for the cheap price! The room we had was very clean and the communal shower/bathroom were also very clean. The staff there was extremely helpful, especially the lady on reception who went above and beyond on helping us get... More

Hotel reception ok. rooms ok albeit a bit too small. . shower, toilet facilities ok. only downside was noise outside with early binmen, drunks coming back and shouting at 3 in the morning. also current major roadworks. TIP ask for a high up room at the back of he house.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location is very close (about 8-10 minutes on walking) to metro (Island Brigge St.). The supermarket (Fakta) is 5 minutes on walking. A very nice bakery with great deals is just on the corner.

Loved the staff--receptionist and restaurant workers (which are the same) were all great. My big problem is simple: despite cool days and cold nights, the hotel room was hot, humid and stuffy. There was very little ventilation; only, it seemed, a small vent in the upper right had side of the wall. The room has a big window and apparently... More

Rooms are small and bathrooms shared. The location is good, close to the Metro and the city centre. The staff was friendly. As mentioned by other reviewers, the breakfast was not great. It was European style, but almost no variety. Stay there for convenience but don't bother getting breakfast.

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
