I was nervous to stay here when I saw the bad ratings, but I was pleasantly surprised. The location could not be better. It is a very short walk to the Norreport station and close to the Rosenborg Castle. There is a wonderful market just across the street with lots of restaurants. Apart from having to pay for linens, I...

This hotel was one of the cheapest I could find in central Copenhagen so my expectations were somewhat low on arrival. I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff were very helpful and friendly and although the room is very basic, it does the job. The highlight was the location as it is very central to everything so a good...

The hotel is located in proximity of Norreport metro and railways stations and at walking distance from Rosenborg Castle. Apart from this strenght, the hotel has small rooms with too small tiny bathroom. Shower is not phisically separated from WC. Sometimes bad smell comes out from bathroom due to the old piping. Breakfast is not sufficient. No bacon or sausages...

After making a mistake with my booking at another hostel I was in search or a place to sleep for the night. This was literally the last hostel bed left in the city centre area. It is like all things in Scandinavia and the Nordic countries..... Expensive..... By European standards. You get what you pay for. It is very central....

The guys in the reception was not helping, the main area is worn down, and dirty. Theres mold in the basement where showers and lockers are. Theres holes in the roof, and the roof is being held up by construct-pillars. The dorm with four beds was claustrophobic and had no aircondition. It didnt feel like you were sleeping in a...

Very old beds that make strange noices at night. Old, rusty and nonfunkcional showers. No air conditions, and no fresh air in the rooms. To much bunk beds in small rooms. No lockers in the rooms. They are in the basement with no locks.

I have spent luckily only one night in this hostel. The most strangest hostel, I could not find nathrooms, toilets in the begining and at the end also exit. You have to pay for bedsheets extra, what has really pissed me off, because there was no notificatin in their website. Connection ti Wifi is only possible to their Hotel guests....

While in Copenhagen, we stayed at Hotel Jorgensen. The hotel also functions as hostel and the hostel rooms are relegated to some weird basement labyrinth of rooms, bathrooms, dorms, lockers and possibly the most depressing common areas and eating room I’ve ever seen. The hotel guests, of course, were treated to above ground rooms, while we slept in a 6...

The best thing about this hotel is its location, just one minute's walk from Nørreport metro station. The city center is also within walking distance. It's located in a vibrant part of town, at a very nice square called the Israels Plads, with the Torvehallerne (market halls), where you can find all kinds of foods and drinks. Vibrant at day,...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
