This hotel is in a very central location in Copenhagen, near-ish the train station on the border of genteel Friedriksberg and Vesterbro, which is an upcoming area. The hotel is simple, clean, really friendly and helpful, and they rent bikes out too, which is pretty handy in that town. There are lots of little cafes around the area; we saw... More

If you consider booking a single room, you should be aware that it has one bed only! The room and bathroom are really small, but clean. Rooms neither have refrigerator, telephone nor aircon. The rooms to the courtyard are very quiet, but can get hot in summer. Breakfast is sufficient and the bus leaving almost in front of the hotel... More

This hotel is located in a decent residential area called Frederiksberg Alle. As soon as you leave the hotel, you step into a beautiful street and there is a cafe right across the hotel where the people of the neighbourhood go. It is a great opportunity to spend time with the locals and also walking distance to all attractions in... More

This no frills hotel is well positioned near the tree lined boulevard of Frederiksberg Alle and 1/2hour from the airport. If you book online, the WIFI is free. The taxi fare is approx. 255k ($50). The rooms are small, and if you don't draw your curtains, other apartment dwellers can look right into your room. The bathroom is tiny and... More

A lovely quiet room in a very friendly hotel near the centre of Copenhagen, just what we were looking for. Breakfast was excellent. The only very small thing that could have better was that there really wasn't enough space to hang things like towels - or to put things in the bathroom. But otherwise, can highly recommend, we'd definitely go... More

I was pleased with this hotel for the price. It's a little bit away from the centre, but not a problem if you have a bike or don't mind taking a stroll. I've previously stayed in hotels in Copenhagen around the same price, but Hotel Sct. Thomas was the best in terms of cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, as well... More

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
