I really loved staying at this hotel, it's staff are friendly, rooms are large, it's modern and really cosy. Love the little lounge area and the spa, it's a great little Danish hotel and is so close to the centr of Copenhagen.

My stay at the Hotel Kong Arthur was short but sweet. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and we had a beautiful junior suite in the spa part of the building. Breakfast was great. There was a lovely rustic Italian resutaurant on the corner which I would highly recommend Il Becco. Wish I could have stayed a little longer great location...

We are so glad that you think our hotel is lovely, thank you. Regarding the bed size: in the double rooms it is 180 cm, which is King size. I don’t know which room you stayed in, but it think it must have been an Economy Double / Grand Lit. In this room type the bed is only 140 cm...

The one thing that I will remember from this hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was asking to much. Old hotel but with lots of charm. I stayed here for one night and it was perfect, the street can be a bit noisy but this is not to much of a problem for me. Lobby and breakfast(nothing special)...

Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad you liked it here. And thanks for the praise of our staff. Hotel Kong Arthur is situated in an older building - a 1800th century Copenhagen style mansion, and this gives a lot of atmosphere to our premises. However, the interior part was completely updated in 2008. In a...

We took a lot of time and care choosing our Copenhagen hotel, especially as we’d be fresh off an overnight flight, landing at 6.30am with two small toddlers in tow. We made the right choice. Kong Arthur was great. The location itself is great – set back from the street facing a pretty canal at the northern end of the...

Thank you for taking your time to write a review. We are so glad you appreciated our hotel, and your description of your stay is wonderful to read. Now in September, we miss a little of the summer’s warmth. I will bring you comment on the replacement of the toilet amenities further in our organization.I am sorry you disliked our...

We needed a place to stay for a few days before going on a cruise. I asked my travel agent for a boutique hotel that was within walking distance to the city center. The hotel is easily accessible from the hotel by metro. Then there is a 15 minute walk. We arrived early in the morning and luckily, our room...

First of all, thank you for writing. We are very sorry that you were not really satisfied with your stay. Your room had a view over our lovely conference court yard, and we regard it as nice view. We are sorry that you experienced some noise in the morning. We will bring this issue to our Operational Department and make...

This hotel has been renovated and the interior looks very good. We had a first floor room facing the front of the hotel and the building in front is being renovated. We were there over a weekend so no work was being done but it would be unpleasant during the week. The room size is normal by European standards and...

Thanks a lot for your positive review. We are a tiny bit sad though because you don’t think we are anything special. You needn't worry about noise from the neighboring building. At this point we are just waiting for them to remove the scaffold. You seem not to have visited the spa. We can highly recommend enjoying a quiet moment...

We stayed here for 2 nights while in Copenhagen. The place was very clean and in a great location close to the Metro which will get you close to just about anywhere you want to go in the city. This older hotel is in a good location close to a metro stop, a number of restaurants, tourist attractions ,some lovely parks and a canal with some lovely swans. The location of this hotel is great for tourism; it's a half block from the lakes and less than a block from one of the ubiquitous city bike rental stations. Great that you in many ways appreciated our hotel! The front desk often makes reservations at either our own restaurants or at other restaurants in Copenhagen. Maybe they didn’t understood that you wanted a reservation. Otherwise I am sure they would have made it for you. We don’t add any surcharges, but the credit card companies do. At the moment...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Kong Arthur is situated right between the beautiful inner lakes of Copenhagen and the buzzing downtown, only 15 min. from the airport by metro. The style is exclusive and modern with a hint of medieval - we call it a mix of rustic and chic. The atmosphere is cozy and informal: A lit fireplace, comfy sofas, pillows in the window sill, a stack of books on the shelves, beautiful courtyards adorned with green plants, cobbles and a unique peacefulness. ... more   less
