This really is my second home. Travel to CPH once a month and I'm always looked after by all the reception staff, especially Aurora and Christina! 😁 always look after me and make me feel very welcome! The bar staff are also really nice guys and always accommodate by putting the footy on the TV and big screen. There isn't... More

Loved the hotel! The architecture, rooms, the bar - really great. Perfect service at the reception - thanks for all the requests we had :) loved their bar and the restaurant, just amazing. Calm neighbourhood, close to the main attractions, highly recommanded.

Lovely room, the beam decor is really different and the hotel has an interesting past. Hotel staff very friendly and a very wide variety of breakfast food. Very good location. 30mins walk to Tivoli, 10mins walk to town centre shopping and boat trips, 20mins walk to Little Mermaid. Would definitely go back.

Great for business or pleasure. Very stylish hotel. Fantastic location surrounded by bars, restaurants. Museums etc. I was there on business but would like to go back for pleasure. Wish I had more time as the Christmas markets had just started

After much research, we settled on this hotel as we wanted views of the water and to be close to the Opera House and city centre. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms whilst on the small side were perfect for our late October trip, cozy, comfortable and with a great view of the Opera House across... More

Has a fabulous stay at the Admiral. A converted warehouse, the Admiral is located right on the Harbourside and within walking distance of Nyhaven, Amalienborg Palace, and the Little Mermaid. In fact most of the old city is within a 20 minute walk. The rooms are small and dominated by heavy wooden beams that add charm but take up a... More

The location is perfect if you visit Copenhagen for business or fun. The view is fantastic and has a really tasty room service! The staff was nice and polite. The room was a superior category but it was quite small but the view to the canal rewarded us.

Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Next door to royal residence Amalienborg Palace and just a short walk from Nyhavn, this imposing 200-year-old former granary warehouse is one of the largest hotels in the city, with 366 rooms - but don't let that put you off. It may not be boutique but big can definitely be beautiful. Beyond the two cast iron canons at the entrance is a neon-pink bar (great for a pre-dinner tipple), while guests retire to rooms showing off classic Danish touches such as teak furniture, low ceilings and original wooden beams. Best of all are the panoramas across the water towards the city's shiny Opera House and Christiania: a view fit for royalty. ... more   less
