We stayed at Andersen to celebrate my fiancé's 30th birthday. We arrived early but our room was available so we could check in - also pleased to find a platter of fruit and a handwritten note to wish my fiancé a happy birthday! Wine hour was excellent particularly considering how expensive alcohol is in Copenhagen. Breakfast was good and served...

Overall I liked the hotel and the breakfasts. The staff was exceptionally nice. However, the single room was too small, had no storage space for clothes, room was poorly lit, and the bed was a spongy nightmare.

This hotel is located just by central station and walking distance to Tivoli and other attractions. It verges very slightly on a bit of red light area although it is not too bad. Breakfast was good although a little limited. Sufficient for a normal eater.

This boutique hotel had everything we were looking for to stay in Copenhagen. We caught the train from the airport and the hotel is only 2 blocks from the central station. Great location for all sightseeing especially the Tivoli. Comfy beds, nice size room, fantastic staff, happy hour, cleanliness, great bathroom. Very happy with this choice.

Stayed for 3 nights on a city break. Had a Superior room. Not massive but nicely furnished with a really comfortable bed. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in terms of tips and advice on good restaurants to visit locally. Nothing too much trouble when asking for extra tea and milk in the room. Excellent breakfast. Fresh smoked salmon,...

Very friendly reception combined with an excellent location. If we had any complaints it would be the very strange shower setup and lousy coffee at breakfast. Overall very happy and we would stay again.

The hotel staff was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The breakfast was high quality - very extensive, diverse and well prepared. The room was very clean and well organized, and the service staff kept it that way throughout the visit. My only reservation in recommending the hotel was the level of street noise at night; if this is an issue...

We had a great trip, based here. An easy walk to Tivoli, restaurants, and the river / canals. Friendly and efficient service, but Copenhagen is expensive! The family room was half the size of the equivalent room/price in Rome, but it was fine. There is no aircon, but a fan and open windows. Noise from the street was a bit...

Only used this hotel for one night between Plane and Cruise Ship departure. Hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are clean. Centrally located. Many restaurants near by. Full breakfast was included in price. Would stay there again.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the main reason I would recommend this hotel. The second reason is the great central location - walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see and do. The room was a bit small for three once the sofa bed was open - with hindsight we should have upgraded to...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
