Hotel Mayfair is considered a good value by guests who appreciate the competitive pricing for its coveted location. While the rooms are frequently described as small and sometimes lacking in amenities, the service earns high marks for staff friendliness and efficiency. Its prime location is a highlight, with easy access to the train station and attractions. The hotel's atmosphere is modern and welcoming, though noise can be a problem for some. Despite the absence of in-room tea and coffee facilities, the hotel's cleanliness is consistently lauded.

Just returned from a three night stay in a twin room. We were able to check in early and the distance to the station and Metro was literally a few minutes walk so got out to enjoy Copenhagen by lunchtime! Room was stylish, bed extremely comoftable and the bathroom, although quite small, was perfectly adequate. We appreciated the kettle in the room (tea on waking is such a lovely thing) and the breakfast was exceptionally good with the best smoked salmon I've ever tasted! What raised this hotel even more however were the fantastic staff, notably Filiph and Rifet who were fabulous on reception and gave us endless advice on the local area (and tea bags) and the ladies at breakfast were very kind. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Had an amazing weekend in Copenhagen, staying at the First Mayfair Hotel. This hotel is in a great location, about 200 metres from Central Station and bus routes and is great for walkers, being on the edge of the city centre. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Also worth a mention is the hotel bar, O'Leary's, which is a Boston type sports bar. Finally the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it!

Stayed here for a night while at copenhagen
Got a very small single room just enough for 1 person and considering the amount of money paid came in as a disappointment.
Location is fantastic and near several key attractions in copenhagen. Breakfast buffet was nice with variety of food options for both veg and non veg.
Overall recommended if you are in copenhagen for a night / two nights and need to be around the attractions

The hotel is close proximity to the Copenhagen Central Station, its situated at walking distance of approximately 5 - 8 minutes from the Metro as well. The hotel is located in the central district and has good connectivity with plenty of shops, cafe's and Restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean upon checking in, I would like to mention that the young lady at the reception provided us a room as soon as we arrived before the usual checking in time.

The rooms are too tiny (or atleast the room 1034 where I stayed) by any standard. There was no space to keep our large suitcase open. There is no intercom facility to place any service request, you need to walk down to the reception if you need any help. The shower cubicle is too tiny and does not seem to have taken average human size into consideration. There were no glasses or spoons provided in the room which I would expect from such a property. No Iron or iron table, no locker facility in the room, no electric water kettle or even tea / coffee sachets. The feeling was more of a dormitory then a hotel. Definitely not up to the mark to call it a 3* hotel.

Dear nitinrege2477, Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your Economy room. This is the lowest category we have and there are not extra facilities in these type of rooms. From Standard and above we offer more space and amenities :-) Thanks, Lena Mølsted

We had two rooms at Hotel Mayfair, both rooms were on the compact side, however we found them adequate for our visit. Rooms and shower very clean and beds comfortable.

The public areas are quirky and again clean and tidy, there is a hotel bar, however very expensive and inconsistent - one night we were given tap water free and the next told they didn't do that and were charged a fortune for both still and sparking water.

The location is within walking distance of the train station, Tivoli Gardens and local shopping and historic areas. We didn't need to use the metro or trains as such a good position.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, we chose to the local bakeries or coffee shops which we found better value for money in a very expensive city.

Dear smashin99uk, Thank you for your reivew. Pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us! It sounds like you might have booked our Economy/Modest Double rooms, which is our smallest double room with a 140cm bed. Be sure to go for at least a Standard Double room if you would like a slightly larger room and bedsize. At our lobby bar we do not charge for tap water. However, if you order a bottle of cold water, still or sparkling, there is a charge on this. We are here 24/7, so if you have any issues with your room, please do not hesitate in contacting us. We will always do our best to help! Hope to welcome you back soon. All the best, Christine / Hotel Mayfair

At the end of our 3 city trip to Europe, we ended up at this hotel chosen for its location by the train station. Bonus points for letting us check in early but for the 3rd time at 4 hotels, we were in the annex area of the hotel. It's on a fairly quiet street but you still have many options for eating and of course a girlie bar. Inside the hotel, they've got the O'Leary's chain, celebrating all things Boston. We only had a drink there. The room is very clean and modern but again, the shower has no separation from the rest of the bathroom so it's hard to keep the floor dry sometimes. And the shower was tiny with no place to put your shampoo/soap. TV had a ton of channels so we could celebrate the Patriots victory and watch NFL all night until our very early departure. (Note that the train station is not open super early on weekdays and you need to go around the corner to purchase a ticket from a machine.) I feel like the $145 per night we spent was a little high but it's Copenhagen.

The hotel has a nice lobby. About 20 min walk to city center. The carpet in the rooms and some of the upholstery could use a shampoo but it is clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh bread and croissants, eggs and some hot dishes; you can tell the kitchen staff make an effort to make a nice spread.

Great location in close proximity to lots of bars and restaurants in the meatpacking district. Short walks to all of the main sites in Copenhagen. Hotel was very clean, and beds very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast as we felt for £17 per person per night, we'd rather go out and eat in cafés and have pastries, which worked out cheaper.

Nice hotel in a really great, central location - it's just a 5 min walk from the central station so getting to and from the airport is really straightforward, ideal for a city break. I shared a twin room with a friend and I thought it was good value - yes, the room was a little small and there was no wardrobe, but I didn't come to Copenhagen to sit in my bedroom after all! The staff on reception were all friendly and helpful. The bathroom was fine, regularly cleaned, Chromecast worked well and I had no issues with noise like some of the other reviewers seemed to. I probably wouldn't stay here for a long holiday, but it was perfect for our needs - I'd stay here again, thanks for a lovely weekend!

We stayed here for 3 nights in room 110 and booked the suite. Overall, it’s solid 4 stars. Room equipment is modern (you can connect your phone to the TV). What we missed was the service. On our first day, when we arrived to breakfast (45min before closing) there were no more eggs left. On the second day, room cleaning missed our cleaning even though we were out all day. When we reported to the reception at 6pm she noted that room cleaning was already gone. This was quite a hassle as we were awaiting fresh towels and supplies.

Overall, however, solid stay.

Dear Kate Thank you for the very generous review in spite of the inconveniences you experienced with us. We would like to inform you that we are going to stop outsourcing from March and will be making our own breakfast buffet - we would love it ifyou came back and got the chance to experience it for yourself. We would also really like to apologize for the lack of service you experienced with us. The receptionist at hand should've offered fresh towels and supplies to make up for the mistake housekeeping made but rest assured we will forward this to the housekeeping department and let them know this can't happen. We hope you have a very lovely day. Best regards, Dubraska / Hotel Mayfair

Email the hotel reception to see if they were handed in by the maids. However, I very much doubt they would be but worth a shot. If they have been, tell them you will pay for.postage to be returned to you.
