My wife and I stayed here for two nights before commencing a Baltic cruise. The hotel has a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a few things missing that I would expect these days in accommodation - there is no safe, tea or coffee making facilities and wardrobes to hang any clothing (there were...

Next to the city center, very comfortable both for pleasure or work journeys. The rooms are very clean and furnished with the necessary; the breakfast is not huge, but definetly healthy. Moreover the staff is very polite. Suggested.

The hotel is a 2-3 minute walk away from Nørreport station, which links to the airport by metro in about 25 minutes. It is also a convenient 10-15 minutes walk from the major tourist attractions. It's nice as you're near to transport and the tourist attractions, but not in a hectic part of the city. There are also nice restaurants...

Thank you so much for your nice words. Your recommendation is the best praise we can get. You describe our location so well. The beds in Ibsens Hotels are from a brand called Jensen beds. And it is really good quality. We are glad you slept so well :) Regarding the bathrooms - our bathrooms are, I guess, typical Nordic/Danish...

Great location near the train station & only a short walk to city centre. Basic & clean & very reasonable in comparison to other hotels we looked at. We rented bikes from reception & explored the city. Great food market 2 mins from hotel

Thank you so much for your very nice review. We are glad to read that you enjoyed our location just as much as we do :) It is indeed great to explore the city by bike, especially when the weather is nice. Next time you should try our New Nordic breakfast - made from organic and local produce. But you...

Among the very, very, very expensive solutions you can find in Copenhagen, this hotel is a good bargain. Fair position: two minutes walk from Nørreport station; ten/fifteen minutes walking from the main city attractions (City Hall, Tivoli, etc.) Our room (double room at fifth floor) was essential, with everything you need (hairdryier, bath products..), and open space shower with no...

Thank you for your nice words about us. We do have a very nice location as you describe so well. All our rooms are of different sizes and shapes. It sounds like the room you reserved was a medium sized room (economy double). The bed is 140cm. If you want to spend a little more I would advise you to...

Good location, short walk to city centre and close to the metro and bus stops. We had booked a large room, the room size was nice, but we got a large room with the tiniest bathroom in the hotel, which little bit dropped the overall feeling of the room. The room was very cosy decorated. There were no mini fridge,...

Thank you so much for your review. It is nice to read that you overall enjoyed staying with us. Ibsens Hotel is comparable to a 3-starred hotel. That’s why we haven’t installed minibar. Normally a larger room comes with a larger bathroom. But to be honest, bathrooms wasn’t prioritized, back when they constructed the building. The same thing applies to...

I stayed at Ibsens with my family for three nights over Easter. It's a wonderful hotel in a great location: close to all the major sights and attractions but also in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood with many good restaurants and cafes. We found the staff really helpful and welcoming - a real credit to the place. The room was nice,...

I loved this hotel, which is about 200 metres from the Metro station and the markets, and a stone's throw from the centre of town - really easy to get to and from. My room was spacious with a street view, a comfortable bed, nice linen, spacious bathroom, and the windows opened (which is always lovely). Check in was easy...
