Zleep Astoria Copenhagen. Realistically what do you expect for such rates in the capital city of probably the most expensive country in the world? (IMHO) This is a budget hotel and boy oh boy was it budget. We stayed for one night prior to boarding a cruise ship and the room was smaller than the cabin we had onboard. It's...

I have never written an online review, despite the fact that I travel frequently in the U.S. and abroad for work purposes. The fact that I am writing one now is a testament to the fact that my experience at this hotel was SO TERRIBLE that I considered it my civic duty to share it online so that others can...

We both really enjoyed our stay at Zleep Astoria. Perfect location, right in the heart of the city and very close to Tivoli gardens. Plenty of local shops, restaurants and sight seeing days out. Would definitely come back for another visit in the near future! Overall, very clean, although walls could do with another paint so are fresh and updated.

Very good small hotel, we only had 1 night to spend in Copenhagen, before a Cruise, check-in is from 14:00 but are welcome to leave your suitcases x free in a special room (we did from 12:00), it also works @ check out by 11:00, but luggage could be left if later departure. Rooms are smallish but as we were...

i read the reviews and am minded to conclude the writers must live in tents or shacks. This hotel is nothing more than a hostal, In fact nothing like any hotel we've ever stayed in. It's basic and not clean. Denmark is known for minimalistic decor, but there couldnt be less in a room. A bed, a chair, a table,...

fantastic location, staff were good, rooms are adequate although our bathroom could have been updated . breakfast is a waste of money, typical continental stuff ( who wants cold meat and a hard boiled egg at that time of day) and rather expensive

I had a single room and upgraded it due to it being the size of a single bed! Not a very comfortable bed and was a pretty average hotel. I think all the beds in denmark have very bouncy matteresess. It was cheap and cheerful, idelly located to the train station, for taxis, walking to tivoli gardens and the walking...

Well nothing bad to say, but still nothing spectacular either. Customer service in the lobby was great though! Breakfast is quite minimal and the beds are not what you would expect, but Copenhagen is pretty expensive city so for 100€ a night I guess this was quite cheap room on excellent location, 50m from the Central railway station's main entry.

For the low price this hotel is really great and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel/the room was as clean as it could be, regarding that the hotel is quite old/not renovated.

I stayed one night at the Zleep Hotel Astoria because I needed to catch an early train next morning. I checked in late, and didn't use any of their facilities, other than the room, so not much to talk about. The room was small, and basic, with a double bed, desk and a bathroom. The bed was comfortable, although very...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Astoria is located as a large train in extension to Copenhagen's Central Station. It is positioned very central in a living area with a short distance to the metropolitan areas in the Meetpacker Destrict and Copenhagen Center. There are approximately 100 meters to Tivoli and the City Hall Square is right around the corner. The airport is only a 12 minutes ride away. The hotel is a 3-star hotel built in 1934 in the functionalist style typical for the architectural era and is therefore popular among people interested in architecture. We have kept many of the original parts inside the hotel.
