Visited with friends for three nights recently and were somewhat apprehensive having read the reviews.
The hotel is traditionally decorated and does need updating. (In fact it has been taken over by another hotel chain as of 1 October). We each had a single room...More
Expect an older hotel with few updates. Our room was small with a step up and down within the room itself. Most annoying as the 5 inch step down was within inches of the bed making it difficult to get in or out of bed...More
The rooms and the hotel in general need to be updated. Great location, right next to the train station and a quick ride to the airport. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were very good and helpful

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
